Chapter 33 (Part 3)

Arjun almost turned but was alerted with Nandini’s yell…

“Ranaaa….you threw that again….you fool…where is that bottle”,

“Which one”,Arjun hurried down in stairs fearing the worse and slapped his forehead when she said the same… “My water bottle..nothing”,Nandhini smiled sheepishly..

His mind raced towards that noon,flashes of Radhika gulping down the entire fluid content of that bottle,licking her lips crossed his mind….It was only little of lunch she had,turning gloomy after the call and fearing a chance to get dehydrated considering the previous day drinking stunt, he forced her to have it…Not even a trace of doubt rose inside him even after watching her to smile while emptying the whole bottle…

He knew she won’t avoid their dinner plan,after all she had been yearning to spend some time as a couple….yet he confirmed again before turning on the ignition and earned a glare …

“You try to avoid our dinner…why?”,she asked…

Giving a ‘Absolutely no’ reaction he drove with simmering tension… Nandhini had this habit of mixing her drink with water to fool them…though it intoxicates less,she needs it…one or other..!! And today,Radhika had it by mistake….Before deciding to continue with the dinner plan,he did check the last few drops left over in the bottle to confirm if that would swallow up her senses any soon..

He saw Radhika to hold her forehead every now and then…though the mix wasn’t strong enough to inebriate a person..she have had a whole bottle which would definitely have its effect on her,now or later..

“I will carry you….”,he quickly got her in his arms,forgetting the Restaurant atmosphere…

Considering their Privacy he reserved the entire roof top for them,still hotel employees’ eyes widened watching a couple so…She giggled and buried her face in his blazer…

“Someone is romantic”,she mumbled…

With least attention over the spread she got on his lap,and fed him….Struggling against the drink’s effect,her eyes strained to focus the plate before..

“Am sorry….”,she mumbled again when her spoon hit his jaw…he held her hand and made her eat and had himself too…

“How do you feel”,he asked worried..

“Heavenly..”,she giggled….”the lemonade was tasty…and now I like it more”,she said…

Lemonade?? Definitely not..!! No wonder she thought to be a lemonade,his sister is an expert in preparing such drinks….Even he had consumed once assuming it to be a soft drink,if not the mild taste of alcohol tested his taste buds.,he too would have gulped down like her..

“Yet I felt a taste of vooodkaaaaa”,she said,wiggling her brows…

“That’s not Vodka”,suppressing his laugh,he adjusted her form over his thighs..

“Then?”,her face scrunched up in confusion…

He just smiled in return,and clicked few photos on themselves after their dinner….Unaware of his naughty intentions,she posed showering kisses all over his face…jabbering about her love for him..

“You would stumble…wait…”,he tried to hold her when she got on her feet.,not before spilling a bowl of Rasmalai over her front…

“Then carry me “,she raised her arms smiling wide…

A tinge of warmth spread over his insides, noticing the sweet liquid dripping from her white lace tops,which now revealed her navel…Controlling the uncontrollable desire seeping through his veins,he swept her off her feet…

She sat finally being exhausted of walking to and fro in that hall of their apartment trying hard to remember the incidents after she fed him..If not she bathed thoughtless,she could have avoided embarrassing herself,hours before…Choosing his bathrobe to be the only available source to cover herself, she stood like a gratifying view before him.,demanding new set of clothes…..the clock read 11 and it was more than a hour he left for purchase….

They do have a meeting at noon…What a Monday morning?!!! She mumbled, moving to their bedroom,her steps disturbed often with that lengthy bathrobe swaying in between her legs…She couldn’t help but smile at her reflection..she was looking more like a dwarf in his pale blue bathrobe,as he said…!

Her cheeks turned pink even now,when a flash of his naughty eyes crossed her mind..that mockery laugh of his,watching her in his bathrobe,turned into a seductive smirk when he suddenly locked her arms against the wall,and buried his head in her middle,demanding her….She had no voice when being caged under his unadulterated manliness..Her fingers unconsciously traced her left precious, he had teased with his stubble this morning…

Until then,she had been admonishing on herself for being inconsiderate…Heedless to the bathroom she stood that morning,she showered being disgusted with the pungent smell she inhaled from her dress..the yellow botches of something viscous and few other blots of food varieties forced her to threw her dress in tub,and wash herself…..Not even a moment,she took to care about the place…

That wasn’t their house but was their flat from where she had recently packed off all her belongings..

Repeated door bells pulled her from her reverie and she checked twice before opening the door..

“Lazy Jerry”,he came inside with few bags…

“You are lazy…what took you more than a hour”,she pulled those bags..

“What were you doing”,he came behind her.

“Thought to check if I had any of my clothes in closet”

“If only you had left unpacked”,he snapped her..

Had not she packed her dress in a fury.,she would have had atleast a set of clothes to adjust with…

“But still ,am happy that I got a chance to get you wear my choice of dresses”,he sat relaxed over their bed..”Exact sizes”,he said when she tried to peep through the bag…

Controlling the beet shade to rule over her cheeks,she bit her cheeks…He did embarrass her asking her cup size when she asked him to get a set of new dress…

“We have a ….”,her words trailed off when he sauntered towards her….he still looked fresh in his previous day’s black shirt..

“I want you to wear my choices…every single thing…”,his voice smooth as silk was enough to dissolve her…

“I do have choices”,she remarked starring him blank..

“You demand..!! I will get it for you!!”,he continued the same raising goosebumps over her..

She nodded averting her gaze to his foot unable to look into his eyes which challenged hers expressing his desires…

She heard the door bell,as she got ready…

“I ordered food…”,he said arranging those…

“You too got ready!!”,she asked surprised at his change of clothes..

It was almost 12 and her stomach growled like a hungry lion…

“You look ravishing in my choice”,he pulled her to his lap suddenly…

“Have your food”,he continued unaffected while she tried hard to have a bite in peace…

“Arjunnnnn”,she shrieked when his fingers teased her waist again..”You are turning shameless”,she said finishing her dish..

“Really…then look this girl,who drenched her husband with her kisses…”,he waved his mobile and held it little high, scrolling their Photos and recording of her love blabber…

“You recorded all this…”,she pouted when he smiled wide with a wink…

“You knew it wasn’t plain water,yet you had it…forgetting my words…”,he pulled her cheeks…and she giggled..

“So..you know your sister drinks..and why is she too addicted…”,she bit her tongue after saying those..

Abstaining himself from conversing,he cleaned their table.,ignoring her help…

“You bought a shop for me..?…”,she exclaimed at the bags assorted in their car’s rear seats..

He smiled a little disheartening her…

“Don’t I have a right to…”

“You have every rights in my life Jerry…but few things takes its time…”,he clipped as he drove through the noon traffic…

“Arjun….documents…??..what have you planned”,Neil asked hurrying from his hotel…

“Yea..I will”,Arjun replied crisp adjusting his Bluetooth…

“What’s the plan…?..Arjun !…as you said,I had texted Sam to reach Event zone today…and BS meeting.,Radzzie won’t let me to handle…”,Neil said in a worried tone fastening his seat belt…

“Well…I will handle it..”

“Wha….say it clearly….”

“I thought you are smart….”,Arjun smirked…

After a moment,”So..Radzzie is with you?”,Neil asked…

“Yes…”

“Will you both come for meeting”

“No”

“Fine…its your problem of handling her…but documents….Sarat uncle won’t give it to us..Its only Radzzie could claim..but she won’t…”

“Lets make it happen..and you carry on with yours”,he disconnected the call..

“Arjun…we have a meeting …drive fast”,she thinned her lips,her foot tapped the car mat depicting her worries…

“We,??…it’s only me”,he said arrogant knocking her daylights out…”Yep…Am the chair person and I don’t want you there”,his said cold ..

“Don’t make fun with my….”

“I meant what I said….”,He said uncaring..

She tried hard not to yell at him….was it because she asked about his sister…He isn’t a person to mix personal life with profession…

“Do you have a reason…”,she asked trying to sound calm..

“Yea…the meeting will not be any smooth since we don’t have the documents…I will take it in my way..so…”,he deliberately avoided to continue further…

“Where should I drop you Jerrry”,he asked after few minutes of silence….

“If its not me..then not you too….”,she snapped narrowing her eyes..”You are coming with me and let Neil handle the meeting…”,she said decisive turning to him…

“Okay..but…”

“We are meeting Sarat uncle now…”

“And I will hand over your company this Friday to Samaira,if you manage to solve the controversy behind this ….”,he said grim slightly turning to her side…

“Arjj….”

“Lemme see your talent…get everything between Khannas and Mehras…”

“Everything!.”,she let a sardonic laugh..

“Don’t you know what I don’t….!! You had your own reason for being in Birdsong…and you dint reveal it yet….Will you say that if I get that so called every details you demanded…”, she asked little cold yet calculative surprising him…

It wasn’t difficult for him to guess that his arrogance was the reason for her behavior…

“Hmm..I will…”,he said after hesitating for few minutes ..

Her smile mutated to an arrogant lopsided smirk….”and I don’t want that….when denied in first place,I don’t accept it later….!!”..

His eyes froze astounded listening her..There was a complete silence till they reached Sarat’s office….

“Angry on me…”,he asked applying brakes..

“When you had never been…why would I?”,she smiled a little…

“Your mobile”,he extended…

“So..finally….!”,her lips curled down…”Too much dominance!…my phone,dress,company..everything under your control”,she pouted with a mock sigh…

He laughed a little aloud at that…”hmm.then what about you…?”

“Haa..it all started from there….”,she huffed but squealed when he pulled her ears…

“And about me….am I not….”

“You?…I will say that with time”,she winked..

“I will be waiting..”,he ruffled her hair,ignoring her scowls….

“Atif…Popcorns!!”..

Atif’s stood rooted to the spot throwing a suspicious glare at his boss…

“Get me..!! Fast”.,he hurried them..

“Wow..Nice…Get for you too..”,Arjun said chewing those, completing turning Atif a statue…

“Boss..! Something really good?”,Atif asked polite unable to hold more…

“Listen.,Am not a Mafia Boss..Stop this”,Arjun threw one more jolt..

“Then how to…”,Atif blinked…Of course..they had been used with these terms.,and Arjun’s sudden change confused him…

Realizing his mistake.,Arjun pretended to be unaffected skipping to the previous one….”Really good? Maybe..But I have a worthy match to watch”,he strode swift towards Sarat’s office..

“May I come in uncle”,she asked saccharine sweet….

Sarat smiled masking his surprise…

“Radhi Beta..How are you?”,he asked an infamous one..

“Just exactly as you saw me two days before”,she smiled wide..

“That’s rude”,he shook his head…

Arjun knew that Sarat had a knack to turn things on his favor…He purposely came there though she asked had refrained him at the last moment…

“Good after noon Uncle”,he smiled..

“Uncle?…Am I not Mr.Sarat”,the old man utilized even a greet on his favor and Radhika threw a shocked stare at Arjun…

“You were supposed to be in meeting”,Sarat shot the next one…

“But..Ma’am asked me not to”,Arjun got over a table munching popcorns…

“You aren’t a kid..Get down…”,Sarat said a little high..

“Am I not your Aru…Help me Uncle”,Arjun smiled testing his patience..

Sarat losing his cool, clarified about the necessity of his presence in Birdsong….Arjun tried to twist it which ended against him that routed for a heated argument between
Radhika and Sarat…Finding it entertaining,he munched those buttery soft white kernel petals noticing the words exchanged…

“I need the documents..What is his hold?…Does he really hold something or not?…I need every single paper about…”,she snapped a look at Arjun who was listening her
intent..

Sarat smiled a knowing one…

“Smart doll…this fellow is a real help…”,Sarat murmured inaudible to Arjun…

“Documents please!”,she gritted her teeth…Sarat continued the same…

“Whats going on in secrecy”,he came to her,and the next moment she surprised both the men thwacking that popcorn bucket expressing her rage…Sarat looked his table,files and even himself to be showered with those aromatic white fluffy cuties…the ground was almost covered with it…No one had the dare to step in his cabin other than his assistant…

“Radh…”

“You find me funny?…And dare to involve Arjun in anything related to..”,

“Birdsong?”,Arjun asked in curiosity…

“You?…Are you a businessman!!..I doubt..!! How the hell you sign deals…? Will you sign anything your to be Father in law asks?..he wasn’t one then..just a to be Father in law…still you signed turning a blind eye…You pushed me to this situation…”,she shoved his hand walking away..

“I fear.,I may end up with something which you all had been hiding for these years…You can’t have Arjun the way you want..and I don’t need a shield in the name of a Mehra.”,she
said resolute,furious..

Sarat’s face turned pale listening that…

“I wonder the result you people expect,hurting her…That isn’t going to be fruitful….we aren’t your opponents still your distrust on us hurts..!! Neil took the lead in meeting..
I can’t hurt her executing my powers…”,Arjun said defeated yet stern clearing the popcorns over him..

“We just care you all…Radhu..!! She is our princess.!! Aru…we ourselves gave upon your relationship with her…but you both were brought together by destiny…Never leave her…I …I apologize on her behalf”,the unrelenting man surprised Arjun with his concern over their life…

Dusting the popcorn spills on his coat,”Thank God.I brought popcorns.,what if I had a chat masala”,Arjun said humorless and Sarat saw him surprised before laughing a little,wiping his lone tear..

“You surprised me”,Sarat smiled..

“Not more that you..!! Am sorry for being harsh,the other day”,he smiled.,taking slow steps towards the exit..

“You..clever..business man!!”,Sarat called high and Arjun chuckled raising his hands in surrender…

“Smart even at tears!!”,he asked surprised..

“Ask.what you played for…”,Sarat encouraged him..

“My words were true..but…the play was mine..! What’s Girish Kapoor’s hold in Khanna Industries..and why dad bought every Khanna property…and…why are we posed as Rivals though we aren’t…”,he asked undaunted..

“You knew you both aren’t Rivals..Yes..So obviously.,the take over is a help to his friend..”,Sarat dismissed it crisp..

“And Girish?”

“He was an old friend..”.

“Still a Friend..I guess…”,Arjun said..

Sarat shook his shoulders nonchalantly…”May be..I don’t know..you should ask your dad”…

“Do you deal criminal cases?”,Arjun asked out of the blue..

“Hmm..No..But I have an associate..You need them?”,Sarat surprised him with his cool attitude..

“Well..I may need to….take in favor of Rakesh kapoor’s murderer”,Arjun smirked…

“What..?”,Sarat failed to unmask his shock…

Arjun smiled as a reply for his queries about Rakesh…

“What if I say Rakesh is alive?”,Sarat threw straight to Arjun and he thought for a while…

“Well that could be a lie”.

“So.,you did it….For Nandhini”,Sarat asked soft confusing Arjun with changed expressions of concern and distress…

“No..”,

“Rakesh is Alive…!!”,

“Glad that I got a chance”,

“Arjun…!! “,he called out in anger… “where is Nandhini”,he asked…

“I don’t know..am still searching her..”,Arjun replied the next instant faking a worried look…

It wasn’t hard for the veteran lawyer to find that was a lie from Arjun’s quick reply….Yet.,he was left to confound on Arjun’s words of voluntarily involving Rakesh’s name…
He was aware his words would reach his dad,yet he said…and Murder!!..

“Meeting done..!!..No oppositions.,still…I had asked to meet them next Monday…”,Neil informed relaxing himself in Radhika’s cabin..

“Hmm…How is Sam?..”,Arjun walked towards their vehicle..

“Who knows..! Have to ask mom…”,

“What..din’t she call you..”

“Hey Relax…She was unwell yesterday..and I texted since I was in a hurry this morning…”,Neil said relaxed

“Are you sure.,that…”

“C’mon Arjun…She spoke yesterday morning…and she would have called Radzzie if she feels a trouble….what about Puneet?…”,

Arjun realized that he forgot to check his secondary number…

“Leave that idiot…Wanna find about Girish”..

“Why that Oldie?..Why don’t you visit their house once”,Neil chuckled.. “and about Faizal…He is recovered…Decide something soon..”,Neil disconnected the call….

Arjun got disturbed watching few calls at early hours from Sam…He checked with his guards ensuring her safety..yet was worried at her dire need to call Radhika at that hour…
