Megha Ray talks about her role in ‘Sapno Ki Chhalaang’; says, “I can relate to my character as I too left my job to be an actor”
Actress Megha Ray, known for her role in shows like Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein and Dil Yeh Ziddi Hai, is now all set to be part of the show Sapno Ki Chhalaang. The actress will be essaying the role of Radhika in the show who is a young girl with big dreams.
Talking about her role in a recent interview, Megha shared, “This show is about a girl who wants to shift to a different city to pursue her dreams. It is a story that many girls will relate to. Usually, when a guy grows up and wants to move to another place for work, it’s acceptable. But if a girl wants to do that, even today parents are concerned and often don’t let their daughter go to a new place. Nowadays things are changing and now women are self-sufficient.”
She added, “I relate to her in many ways. Even though I belong to Mumbai and didn’t have to shift to a different city, I too left my engineering job to pursue acting. Nobody knew about my dream of acting. One day I just decided that I would like to pursue my dreams, so I took that chalaang to become an actor.”
