“You stole that ring, right?”

“Me? Steal? No…No” Abhi messed it up. Pragya caught Abhi’s hand. She removed the watch he was wearing.

Pragya signalled something to Nitya.

“Return my ring. Get your watch.” Nitya said and started moving along with Pragya.

“Stop… Arey, please, that’s the only thing that I have in memory of my parents. Please. Return that to me” he said, practically begged. Immediately, Pragya returned the watch to him.

Pragya signals Nitya and therefore she becomes the voice of Pragya.

Nitya “You don’t like your parents, right?”
Abhi “I don’t”
Nitya “You don’t miss them, do you?”
Abhi “No, I don’t”
Nitya “Which clg are you studying in?”
Abhi “I joined S.A Science and Arts College”
Nitya “B.Sc?”
Abhi “Physics”
Nitya “2nd year?”
Abhi “Hmm…”
Nitya “I am Maya, 1st year. See you in the college”
(The intro was crisp. But Nitya couldn’t understand anything. Though she mediated, she was blank. She was still blinking when she found she was alone)

“How long yaar?” Pragya asked starting her Scooty.

“Can I know what just happened?”

“Nothing. We can leave”.

“Are you going to tell or not, Maya?”

“Fine…I asked him, sare… I told you to ask, whether he doesn’t like his parents—

And he answered yes?”

Abhi thinks: of course, I don’t like my parents…I love them…more than myself. *Here, Pragya answers the same*

“Then, I asked him, Ok you asked him, whether he misses them—

And that also he said no?”

Abhi thinks: why should I miss them when they are always with me?

Nitya was stunned that Pragya actually understood his answers so well.

“How come yaar?—
I just understood Nitu”.

Nitya was still gasping in amazement, but they soon left the place. Nitya enquired about the ring to Pragya.
I know what to do for it…she just answered.

“Ok, why were you telling me to talk to him?” Nitu came up with the next question of hers!

“I didn’t want to talk to him” Pragya answered simply, just like before…

They reached their home (they both lived alone—or actually together—in a rented 1 room house).

Abhi also reached home.

Abhi came out of the past hearing his daughter call him. *Guys, hope I am clear… Pragya is telling Fb to Ayesha when they are in flight and Abhi is thinking about past, when he is in old home*

“Papa…mamma was calling you. Why didn’t you pick up your phone? She is scolding me now” Aaliya barked showing her phone.

“Oh, sorry dear…give me the phone” Abhi grabbed it.

“What are you doing Abhi? Did you have your lunch? What about Aaliya?”. Yeah, it was Paru.

“Ha…done. Done…Oh, I am getting another call. Catch up with you later!” Abhi blabbered.

He cut the call and rushed Aaliya to a restaurant!

“So, your second, sorry third meeting was in the college, right?” Ayesha asked.
“Haan…” Maya said.

“So…how did you meet? What did you say? What did he say? What
—I think it’s time to land Ayesha…so wear your seatbelts.”

“Mom…all announcements…they will take care.
And as they didn’t tell, time is still there.
You continue the story.”

ANNOUNCEMENT—
“Urgh…can’t I listen to my mamma’s love story once?” Ayesha literally barks.

Maya smiles while Ayesha wears her seat belt uninterested.

“Wow, papa…this is lovely. Order me one more—

No more, you have had enough and come let’s leave. I have a meeting now”.
Aaliya makes a sad pout while Abhi pays the bill and drags her out!

“I am going. If you want, stay in our home. Bye.”

“Papa, I forgot to tell you. Purab uncle is coming home tomorrow. He had left a voice msg for you and I got it. So come home soon and don’t go anywhere else—

Ok mumma…I will come soon.”

Aaliya smiled at his statement, while Abhi left the place with the same smile.
