Someone asks Ashavaan ji what happened next. Ashavaan ji says the day of Naamkaran ceremony came.

Flashback:
Everyone has gathered at Anna’s house. Anna welcomes Deshpande ji heartily. His wife looks at the baby girl. She is lovely. Hope no evil eye falls on her. She asks Anna’s sister who will decide the name for the baby girl. She takes Mai’s name. The ladies get tensed. Deshpande ji’s wife calls it a bad omen. She hasn’t been blessed with a baby. As per scriptures, even the shadow of such women shouldn’t fall on a baby! A man seconds her and raises an objection as well. Mai goes to her room teary eyed. Anna goes to check on her.

Mai is crying in her room. Anna asks her why she is feeling bad because eof wha people say. You know their thoughts are low. Their reaction

was normal. Even I was taken aback when your name was taken. Mai says even I was surprised. I was happy for a moment but things went back but same thing happened again. He says you love everyone so much that they all call you Mai. You are a mother even though you haven’t given birth to anyone. Almost all the kids of the village were born with your help. She rues that she hasn’t been blessed with a baby though. What did I do wrong that we still have not been blessed with a baby? Why did God do this to us? Anna asks his wife why she is talking like this today when she never gives up. There is hope till the time we are alive. She asks him till when should she keep hope. Why must we wait for so long? Anna explains that good things take time. God must be planning something really good for us. His sister seconds him. Who said that you are not a mother? You have a right on my daughter before me that’s why I made you hold her first. There is no better person than you in my eyes. You only will give her a name. I have told the villagers too. No one will say anything now. Come with me. No one has ever left empty handed when they came to you. Will you say no to me? Mai shakes her head.

Mai whispers the name in the kid’s ears. Everyone is curious to know her name. Mai shares that she has named her Gayatri. Everyone claps. Anna’s sister hugs Mai.

Present:
Ashavaan ji says Mai might love Gayatri like her own daughter but she still wanted her own kid.

Ali and Udhav come there and share that British Officers have come to Sarkar’s place. It must be for the road project only. Baizama is worried but Ashavaan ji reminds them that Sai never lets His devotees fall in any trouble even when He isn’t around.

British officer shows the map to Sarkar and tells him what needs to be done. We don’t need more enemies so you must convince the villagers. Sarkar assures him that he will take caref ot it. I will win them over. Officer says that’s what we expected from you. Don’t hesitate if you need anything from our end. Santa and Banta come running there just then. We have got great news for you! Sarkar warns him that it should be good news or he will hang them upside down. Say it! They tell Sarkar that Fakir is not in Shirdi. No one knows anything about His whereabouts or when He will return. Sarkar tells the officer to make the road asap. There is a person in this town who is a fake but He uses black magic. He has been an ally to all revolutionaries too. He is a thug and keeps hindering the projects initiated by your government. Make the road before He returns! Officer agrees. The road will be ready in time if I get all approvals. Sarkar vows to get hold of Shirdi before He returns.

Ashavaan ji tells everyone to tell their problems that Sai is bigger than them. Everyone smiles.

Flashback:
A kid keeps begging for water in her unconscious state. Her mother tells her to bear the thirst a little more. She is dejected though. From where can I give her water? Namo comes running just then. I found water. This pot never runs out of water. The lady feeds water to her daughter. Namo tells them to drink water as well. It never runs out of water! They are amazed to see the pot getting refilled on its own and drink water. His father asks Namo from where he got this pot. Namo shares that it belongs to a Fakir Baba. I brought it here when it was my turn. His mother reminds him that one must not take anything without asking someone. Namo says I wanted you to have water too. His father sill calls it wrong. Everyone in this village needs water but stealing it is not right. Return the pot to that Fakir and apologize to Him. Namo says I don’t know where Baba would be. Sai says I am right here. Namo apologizes to Him for taking His pot without asking Him and returns it to Him. I was helpless as my sister was quite thirsty. Sai pats at his forehead. Nothing is bigger than someone’s life. Namo smiles.

Present:
Everyone is lighting diya’s in Dwarkamai. Ragini says Dwarkamai looks sad even after the lit diya’s as Sai is not here. He is the actual light of Dwarkamai. Ashavaan ji smiles. He may not be here but His presence can always be felt here. These diya’s must be lighted. Sai wont like it if He finds out that His Dwarkamai was in darkness when He wasn’t around. Let me continue with the story. Everyone sits down. Ashavaan ji says something happened a few days after the Naamkaran ceremony.

Flashback:
Mai notices a kid’s footprints in the courtyard and is overwhelmed. Who could have come here? She starts looking around when a kid calls out to her. Aayi! She keeps looking but does not see the kid. Who are you? Where are you? Come in front of me. She keeps hearing the word Aayi. Mai sits up with a start. It was a dream. Anna wakes up as well and asks her what happened. She tells him about her dream. What could it mean? Anna says it might be a sign that we might be blessed with a baby soon. They smile.

Present:
Baizama asks Ashavaan ji if it was a sign indeed. He nods. Mai felt it too.

Flashback:
Mai is knitting something for a kid. Her SIL asks her what she is thinking. Who are these clothes for? Mai tells her about her dream. That dream gave me a new hope. I feel as if I will get blessed with a baby too. I must make preps so I got all this here for that. Another thought came in my mind though. Am I being childish as I see no hope of getting pregnant? I think I must be acting childish. Her SIL says I have learnt it from you and Bhau that nothing happens without a reason. There must be a reason behind your wish to do this. Go ahead and do it if that’s what you want to do today. I am sure that the one who will wear it will come soon too.

Precap: A Baba refuses to accept alms from a woman who never had a kid. Mai’s SIL tells him that he will have to accept the alms from Mai if he really wants it. He refuses again. I am quite blessed. I can see the past and future when I look at someone’s face. It clearly shows that she will never become a mother!
