Anta and Panta reach temple and see pandit missing. Disciples complain against Sadashiv describing his commanding and rude behavior. Sadashiv rushes to temple late. Anta and Panta say they need to talk. Sadashiv says after finishing pooja. They both yell how dare he is to think temple as his personal property and come late for pooja, he should come on time from tomorrow.
Mohit returns home and sees Chandresh with Sai fencing mango tree and yells looks like Sai and Chandresh are planning something. Chandresh says he has seen people sitting under tree and pick mangoes fallen on floor, those mangoes belong to him, so he is spreading thorns on floor. Mohit yells how will he pluck mangoes stepping on thorns; he is seeing he is troubling him since yesterday by giving blanket to Sai for wash and then not giving grass to cow so that he could not milk. Chandresh cries and tells Sai that he does not want to irk bhai as he is the only family member left. Sai explains how Chandresh sacrifices for his brother by sleeping at night shivering without blanket, spending all his earnings to feed cow, watering mango tree, etc., just because he is the only family member. Mohit apologizes realizing his mistake and says he became selfish and did not realize how his father would have felt seeing him troubling his brother. He hugs Chandresh and promises to take care of him always.
Sunananda at home prays god to not let her husband do any mistake. Sadashiv walks home reminiscing Anta and Panta’s insulting words. He sends Sunananda and Yamuna out of house and locking door burns camphor on his palm saying he is a sinner and should repent. Sunanand prays god to protect her husband. Sai sitting in Dwarkamayi hears her prayers and protects Sadashiv’s hand. Sadashiv happily walks out and tells Sunanda that god protect him and he is not a sinner. He boasts even Mhalsapati that god is happy with him. Sunanda thanks god.
