Sai says very often people who are strangers appear to be our own and vice versa. They ask Sai what He means. Sai says you will understand when Ram ji would want you to. I am happy to see you two giving alms together on such an auspicious day. I pass from outside many times. It is a well built house. It seemed incomplete earlier but it feels complete today. Lakshmikant smiles. Sai leaves. Vidya begins to go inside when Lakshmikant stops her. You came outside and stood with me willingly after years today. Did you forgive me?

Sai sits under a tree. Om Sai plays.

Vidya tells her husband she isn’t sure if she would be able to do that. It is unpardonable. You must understand that it isn’t a natural occurrence for a mother to get separated from her kid. I can never forget her. She is still a part

of my life. I still worry about her daily. Don’t know how she will be or whether she would have survived or not! Lakshmikant says I understand your pain. I am burning in hell every day for that. Vidya says there is a chain which is trying to cut off the distance – Rama. I feel like starting afresh since she has come here. I feel as if God has returned what I had lost. She has made me realise that my anger may be reasonable but she also made me realise that that has snatched the peace from our house. Sai also said something on similar lines sometime back. I filled my heart with loneliness and pain. My family, my kids got affected because of it. Bhagirathi cannot bear even a little pain as she has never seen my come out of it. She has learnt how to live life in sorrow from me only. I need to change all of that. Bala has made use of our misunderstandings and the distance between us. I must stop rubbing my wounds and start over. You must be a part of that life too. Lakshmikant looks touched. Vidya says that’s when this house will become a home. I would need some time for things to be normal. Lakshmikant tells her to take as much time as she wants. Bala stops nearby to listen to their convo. Lakshmikant says I feel so relieved to hear it from you. I will be forever indebted to you for this as she compelled you to think of this. She has given us the happiness which we had forgotten about. She appears to be of same age as Bala who keeps troubling us and everyone with his notorious acts whereas we have become indebted to that girl for all that she has done for us in such a short span of time. Wish Bala could also learn something from her while she is here. Bala fumes. I should learn from her? She is better than me? She had pissed me enough already and now my parents are all praises for her. She has suddenly become everyone’s favourite. I must do something big now!

Keshav notices Sai sitting under a tree and walks up to Him. Why are you sitting here at this hour? People must be waiting for you in Dwarkamai. I was also on my way. Sai asks him to go ahead. I must wait here for some more time. Keshav sits in front of Sai. What happened? Sai says a storm is about to pass. I will come once that happens.

Bala goes inside his parent’s room stealthily and opens the cupboard.

Rama asks Lakshmikant for saffron. He tells her that it is in Vidya’s cupboard. Take it from there. She agrees. Bala takes his mother’s jewellery from her cupboard. He is about to leave when Rama enters. They both look at the small potli in his hand. Bala runs out of the room. Rama wonders why he was shocked to see her. She takes saffron from Vidya’s cupboard and heads back to kitchen.

Bala comes to Rama’s room. It is good that she did not see it or question me. He keeps the potli in Rama’s bag.

Sai becomes sad. Keshav asks Him why His eyes welled up. Sai says kids form the base of the society. I feel bad when I see them wavering because of their upbringing and egos. Keshav says I don’t know the context but can you not stop it somehow. Sai says it is a family’s matter. They must sort it out themselves. Parents must know that love and disciple are equally important in the lives of the kids. They must teach kids how to be good human beings. If they become too engrossed in their own problems and fail to do so then the kids turn out to be bad.

Rama comes to Bhagirathi’s room and notices the mess on the floor. Bhagirathi is sitting quietly in a corner. Rama smiles for her sake. It is Vaishakh Purnima today so I made kheer as Prasad. Please eat it. Join us for lunch outside after some time too. Bhagirathi refuses and begins to leave but Rama stands in her way. Kaki told me that you like it very much. Please have it. It might fill you with happiness too. Bhagirathi throws the bowl angrily shocking Rama. I told you I don’t want to eat it! Don’t you dare try to compel me into doing things! I may have agreed with you once or twice but it does not mean that you could take care of my problems. You did pacify me but my pain never left me. I cannot pretend anymore. How can I feel happy after eating sweets? These things sound good up till your age. No sweet can replace the bitterness that’s inside me. Kheer is worse than poison for me now as my husband loved it equally. His parents threw me out and he dint even come to take me once. He has left me! I got married today and it has fallen apart now. You want to feed me kheer? Rama apologizes to her with folded hands. I did not know. Bhagirathi holds her palm angrily and presses it. That’s the whole point. What do you even know about me? You know nothing yet you pretend as if you know everything. You have no relation with us or this house. You are just a dependent here! Better stay like one and stop interfering in our lives. Stop acting as if you are a part of our lives. You may have impressed my parents with your words but it does not mean that you are their daughter or my sister. Stop calling me Tai and trying to gain some rights over it. We pitied you so we let you stay here. Stay in your limits! Do you understand? You can leave the house if you cannot. No one wants you here! Leave. Rama walks out of the room teary eyed and in shock. Bhagirathi breaks down.

Bhagirathi’s words echo in Rama’s ears as she comes to her room. Kaka Kaki might have accepted me but Tai and Bala will never accept me. Problems might increase for Kaka and Kaki if I stay here with their kids. I shouldn’t be a burden and stay here. I have to leave one day after all. I might have overstayed already. She takes her bag and walks out with a heavy heart. She thinks against bidding adieu to Vidya and Lakshmikant in person or there might be clashes between the family members. I must leave the house quietly. She steps out of the house. I came here only for a few days yet I am feeling very bad today. I must leave though.

Precap: Lakshmikant says it is good that you brought her back but we must check her bag before we take her inside. Keshav asks him what he is saying. What happened? Vidya is in tears. Bala notices everyone quiet and accuses Rama of stealing jewellery. Rama pleads innocence when Lakshmikant finds jewellery in her bag. She cannot stay here anymore. Bala smirks. Sai tells Lakshmikant that Ram ji pardons the first mistake but what is done again is not really a mistake. It becomes unpardonable then.
