Jhipri’s mother comes to meet Sai at Dwarkamayi. Sai gives her water and asks why she often scolds her daughter Jhipri. Lady says nothing is hidden from Sai, her husband died when Jhipri was a small kid and she bought up Jhipri with great difficulty, now people question when she is getting Jhipri married, she and Jhipri make ends meet by selling cow dung cakes and she could not save even a penny for Jhipri’s marriage. She is worried ror Jhipri’s marriage and does not have any relative to support her, Jhipri’s aunt was there who does not visit them after her borther’s death, she is worried who will do Jhipri’s kanyadaan, what she should do. Sai says by patience and faith. Sai continues that Jhipri helps all villagers, and god will help Jhipri. Jhipri is an intelligent girl and does all possible ways to help her mother, she should not worry about her.
Jhipri sits crying under a tree when her cow dung cakes don’t sell. Baiza serves food to her family, then sees Jhipri sitting outside her house under a tree and calling her asks if she fine. Jhipri says yes. Baiza realizes Jhipri could not sell cow dung cakes and says she was waiting for her since morning to buy cow dung cakes and asks her to come while she gets some food and money for her. Jhipri says she is not hungry and sits on floor. A snake crawls towards Tatya and is about to bite him when Jhipri notices it, runs and pushes Tatya away. Everyone are shocked seeing snake. Snake crawls towards Jhipri and is about to bite her when Sai enters and warns it to stop. It stops. Sai walks to it and says it cannot harm this family and asks to return back. Snake obeys and crawls away. Baizaa thanks Jhipri to save her son’s live by risking her life. Jhipri says it was her duty, Tatya is her childhood friend, even otherwise she would have helped anyone in trouble. Baizaa says she did not have a daughter and now Jhipri is her daughter. Jhipri’s mother scolds her for risking her life.
Keshav reaches Shridi in his bullock cart and asks lady where she wants go in Shirdi. Lady thinks he will scold her if he will know that she is from low cast, she yells at Keshav it is not of his business and asks to help her get down. He helps her get down. She arrogantly looks at him and walks away. Keshav thinks bulllock cart driver was right, this lady is weird, her behavior was so nice before seeking lift and not became arrogant.

Jhipri says nothing, he just takes whatever they give to eat. Aunt fills sea shells in bag and gives it to Sai.
