Raghunath serves poha breakfast to Mhalsapati and himself tasting poha praises Yamuna that it is very tasty and asks for onion to enhance its tasty. Mhalsapati scolds him for having food before performing pooja and thinking of consuming onion apart from that. Raghunath apologizes and says he is an orphan and did not learn pooja in a proper way, he learnt it from his temple pandit and some from Yashwant, now he wants to learn it from Mhalsapati and he can scold him for his mistakes but also forgive him. He then says he is a good cook though as he cooked his food himself and will prepare bhindi sabji for them tonight. Mhalsapati thinks he unnecessarily doubted this boy.
Tukaram sees his wife and says this cannot be. Sai smiles sitting in Dwarkamayi. Tukaram then sees water clearing in it, fills it in a cup, and gives it to Sai saying he cannot get more clean water than this. Sai asks how did he get this water. Tukaram says by waiting till mud settle in pit and he filled pot after that. Sai pours water on tulsi tree and then fills water from his pot. Tukaram asks if there was water in his pot, then why did he trouble him. Sai says he just asked water. Tukaram says he told he will give solution to his answer if he gets water from pit, he had to waste much of his time and had to wait for mud to settle down to get water. Sai says when he realized there is no other go than waiting, he calmly waited. Tukaram says that was the only way. Sai even unstable mind needs time to heal, he cannot escape from his sorrows and need to wait for his mind to stabilize; he did not mourn completely for his wife’s death and is trying to hide it by keeping himself busy; he should leave it on time to heal his wounds and forget his wife over time. Sai continues his moral gyaan.
Mhalsapati takes Raghunath to temple and introduces him to everyone as interim poojari in Yasjwantji’s absence and introduces 2 aides to Raghunath. He then asks Raghunath to start pooja. Raghunath says he will chant Hanuman chalisa first, but needs book as he is nervous to chant it in front of so many people. Mhalsapati agrees. He chants reads Hanuman chalisa looking at book and does mistakes. People think he is nervous. Sai enters. They all greet him. Raghunath asks him to give his bag while performing pooja. Sai says he can hold it himself and asks Raghunath to fill oil in lamp. Raghunath pours oil on burning thread and it blows off, nervously asks aides to help him. They clear thread and light lamp. Bhima and other discuss he looks too nervous and too young.
Mhalsapti tells Sai that Raghunath’s excitement reminds him of his younger days, earlier he was doubtful on Raghunath, but now he is confident seeing his humble nature; as Sai said help can come from anywhere, they just need to choose a person carefully. Sai smiles and leaves temple. Raghunath evaluates all precious items in temple and steals god’s golden kada/bangle. Sai stops noticing it.
Precap: Raghunath asks disciples to search god’s kada all around as it must be somewhere here. Patil asks who must have done this sin. Raghunath confesses he stole it. Sai smiles.
