Veer wakes up in the hospital bed and smiles seeing Sanchi beside him. He slowly strokes her head. She wakes up and starts scolding him
Sanchi: who do you think you are. Jumping in the middle of the road. Are you spidern or superman
Veer: no, I can’t be them. Because you can’t see my lal chaddi outside my pants.
Sanchi hits him
Veer: ouch….that hurts
Sanchi gets worried again, “ I’m sorry”
Veer laughs
Sanchi: you are always joking. Do you know how worried I was. I thought I’m gonna loose you. Don’t do this again
Veer lovingly tucks a tangle behind her ear and holds her face
Veer: I won’t ever let anything happen to you. I’ll always protect you.
Sanchi feels flustered for a moment.
Veer: now you have to do all the things you promised god…
Sanchi is shocked,” what promise…”
Veer: didn’t you promise youll fulfill all my wishes. And what were you saying..?
Sanchi: ( counting on her fingers) I’ll not complain on your nagging, I’ll buy you food, I’ll always….(she sees the mischievous smile on Veer’s face and understand she’s been fooled to confess about her prayer)…aargh..you are again nagging me. Why do you trouble me always
Veer: you are breaking your promise. Remember…no complaints
Sanchi: you need to take rest. I’ll meet you in the morning.
Veer smiles at her and longingly looks at her hoping for her to stay back.
Veer holds his heart, “why does it feel weird in . should I get an ECG done.”
Sanchi is preparing to go to bed when she recieves a call and rushes outside.
Veer waits outside sanchi’s hostel.
SM: what are you doing here this late
Veer: I needed to tell you something
SM: you could have told me tomorrow at the hospital
Veer: I want to tell you now
She stares at him blankly
Veer: I ……
Sanchi looks into his eyes
Veer: its hurting
SM: I told you to take medicine and rest. You never listen to anyone
Veer just grabs her hand places it on his heart
Veer: it hurts here. ( Sanchi just looks at him, lost for words). You…..it’s time you stopped having a crush on him.
Veer holds her both hands and pulls her closer to him
Veer: I think….I am in love … With you
They are lost in each others eyes.
( Kuch toh hain jo dil ghabraye….) Plays in the bg.
Sanchi breaks free.
SM: I should go inside. It’s cold outside. Please take rest.
She runs from there but ends up hitting a pole. She apologises to the pole.
Veer laughs seeing Sanchi thus.
The next day at SDCH, Sanchi tries hard to avoid veer. He enjoys seeing her panics and makes sure to appear before her from time to time.
Meanwhile kabir comes to the nursing station to take a file from nurse Fernandez. He notices sanchi’s key with her
Kabir: this key?
Fernandez: oh, it’s not mine. Veer had asked me to return it to Sanchi. He was having it when he was brought in for operation.
Kabir thinks why would veer have sanchi’s key. They are not even close.
Kabir: give it to me. I’ll hand it over to Dr. Agarwal
Fernandez: no sir this belongs dr Sanchi Mishra.
Kabir: oh, ok I’ll give to dr Mishra.
Kabir goes to his cabin and sits thinking. He remembers all the instant when he felt SM was his mishri. Suddenly someone knocks on the door.
Kabir: come in Sanchi
SA: why did you want to see me
Kabir takes out the box from his draw
Kabir: you remember this Sanchi
SA: yes. I gave it to you
Kabir: don’t we need to see what’s inside.
Sanchi starts sweating.
SA: the key
Kabir takes out the key.
SA: how did you get it.
She gets nervous. “ oh god, did Sanchi tell him the truth”
Kabir: nurse Fernandez found it. She wanted me to return it to its owner
Sanchi is relieved
SA: let’s open it together. Like we promised
Kabir: no, before I open, I want you to tell me what is inside
SA: why don’t you look in yourself.
Kabir: no, first I want to hear it from you.
Sanchi breaks down
SA: I’m sorry kabir, I can’t answer that. Because it was not me who put it in there
Kabir: what do you mean
SA: I’m sorry kabir, I didn’t want to hurt you. It’s just that, I fell in love with you. And I didn’t want to lose you. Please forgive me
Kabir yells at her : get out of my cabin. Now.
Sanchi just sits there on the floor crying. Kabir leaves his cabin in anger.
Sanchi is walking through the corridor when she gets kabirs call
Sanchi: now what does this khadoos want.
She picks the call
Kabir: long time not seen Sanchi
Sanchi: what are you saying. Didn’t we just meet in the morning in your cabin
Kabir: long time no see mishri
A tear escapes her eye
Sanchi: long time no see golu
She turns around and finds kabir. They walk towards each other. Kabir hugs her and cries
Kabir looking at her: why did you lie to me. Why did you send SA in your place
SM: I did not lie kabir. It was you who assumed her to be mishri. I came there in the café to meet you. But you just walked past me. You looked with your eyes. Not with your heart.
Kabir: I’m sorry mishri. My heart always felt that you are my mishri. But my mind played games with me. Whenever you were around, I felt attracted to you. I thought I was doing wrong. And that’s why I always got mad on you. I love you mishri
He hugs Sanchi. Sanchi also hugs him back. Veer watches from the corner and leaves sadly with a melancholy smile.
So guys, who do you think Sanchi should choose. Who is her true love
Please post your suggestions without any prejudice. For the time being let’s keep aside our fan love and choose the right person who truly deserve Sanchi. And please don’t get mad at me for always doing this to you guys. (Actually, getting a little mad is ok??)
