Sohrab rushes to hospital after hearing news of Kanishk being hospitalized. He sees Kalyani and Ketki in garden and asks what happened. They show him Kanishk’s doc. Doc takes him to Kanishk’s room and tells he has hole in his heart and needs surgery. Sohrab asks howmuch money. Doc says around 25,000 rs. Devika gets tensed. Doc says this is charity hospital, so they need to arrange 7,000-8,000 rs. Devika asks till when she has to arrange money. He says in 6 months. Sohrab asks if they can take Kaniskh home now. Doc says yes, his condition is better.
Sohrab drops family home in his car and tells Devika that he can help with Kaniskh’s surgery fees. She says he has already helped her a lot and she cannot burden him more. At night, Kalyani asks Sohrab how to help aayi with money. He says he has a film shooting in the nearby village and needs a girl of her age who can act and sing. She starts thinking.
In the morning, Devika gets ready for her job and asks Kanishk if he will miss her. He say no and he will take care of everyone. Devika smiles and goes for her job. She walks instead of riding in a bus and reaches her work place on time. She even plays with owner’s kids and cooks food well.
Ketki reminds Kalyani that her birthday is nearing. Kalyani thinks of Sohrab’s offer repeatedly. She informs Devika that Ketki’s birthday is nearing and she needs some gift. Devika asks her to get her a front from nearby shop which is worth 15 rs. Devika checks her money box and counts money. Kalyani asks which money is this. She says she walked to work and saved this money. Kalyani says she heard Sohrabji telling that they need 7,000 rs for Kaniskh’s operation, how will she arrange it in 6 months. Devika says she will somehow and she does not need to worry.
Precap: Kalyani tells Devika that she is going for group study at her friend’s house. Devika permits her. Ketki says friend has gone to Pune. Kalyani goes to shooting with Sohrab and reaches home at night. Family looks at her angrily.
