Sohrab and Ketki come out of college after Ketki’s admission. Ketki looks at girls and says these girls are so advanced and she looks like villager in front of them. He says not to pay attention to them. She says she got college admission because of him and she does not want to go to college as she will be wasting 3 years, but she will if she can help family. She wants to earn money. Sohrab says first she has to study and let Kalyani work and cheers her up. She hugs him.
Kalyani goes to meet Vikranth Khanna at his office and informs receptionist that Sohrab took appointment for her. She sees established singer getting angry for making her wait and leaves shouting Vikranth is very arrogant and loser. Recepionist says she is a hit singer and her many new films are coming. She then goes and informs Vikranth that some singer came with Sohrab’s recommendation. He asks who Sohrab and denies to meet her. Kalyani sadly leaves.
Kalyani reaches home and informs Devika that Vikranth did not meet her at all. Devika says she can try next time. Kanishk coughs. Devika gets worried and reminisces Dr. Jahangir’s words that Kanish’s organs are failing and chances of cure are rare.
Next morning, Kalyani goes and stands outside Vikranth’s house again. Vikranth comes in his and she stands in front of it. He stops car and shouts if she wants to suicide. She says she is a singer and Sohrab Mistry sent her. He asks her to sit in his car and takes her to his office. He asks where she got trained. She says her father Rajaram Gaekwad was a great singer and taught her music. He asks if she knows movie singing. She says no, but she likes Nayantara Devi’s voice. He says she has gone old and he needs new voice. Driver informs him it is time up. He tries to leave. She asks him to listen to her song once. He asks her to follow him.
Devika waits for Kalyani till night. Ketki says she will come back soon, else she will call Sohrab.
Precap: Ketki tells Sohrab that she loves him. Kalyani asks Vikranth if she is getting a chance because…He says she is doubting her talent and not his intention.
