Scene 1:
Location: Maasa’s residence
In the room, Pari thanks him for his compliance to the request she posed. he says that he didnt do it for her, but for maasa. she asks if he knows whats better, its that, they shall together work for the betterment of the company, and asks him to notice that the company shall benefit vastly. he eyes her tensedly.
Later, as pari and maasa brings up the topic of college classes with sattu, they find that they arent having much options, due to his business involvement too, rather than in the college, where pari is appointed as a teacher. he is vehement that he wont go there. she innocently asks whats the problem in it. he asks her to even
All are tensed, as pari is adamant that she would join the college as a married teacher, as she doesnt need to hide her identity. they try to convince her, but she is adamant, that she wants the world to know that she is married.
Later, Maasa waits with the bahus, when pari steps out as a married woman. maasa says that she sees her point and that she has no problem in pari keeping her marital status at the college. then she just asks her the reason she would give regarding questions about her husband and his whereabouts. pari starts marking questions one by one, as are thrown at her, from maasa and the bahus, qand finally, since she isnt habituated to lying, she starts to fumble. pari is left embarassed and flustered as she stands caught in her own web of lies. then the bahus start commenting about how they saw through her lies, within a minute, then how does she plan to get through this matter without being able to convincingly lie. then pari starts to point out as to how this isnt something she has thought of, but she doesnt want to keep this matter as a secret. they all wonder how is it possible, as pari isnt willing to get rid of the mangalsutra and the vermillion on her forehead. maasa says that she has a solution to this, and then takes her up to her room. maasa does he rmakeover, wherein she makes her wear a bandhgala suit, hiding the mangalsutra, and a hairstyle that doesnt show her vermillion. they both smile at each other, as each expresses to the other, as to how they are lucky to have a mother and a daughter like them. they hug each other.
As maasa steps down with pari, the bahus are left agape, along with the sattu, who eyes pari’s new look, with open mouths. they are shocked. pari smiles at sattu. the screen freezes on pari’s happy face.
Precap: sattu and pari both join college. students dont realise that she is a teacher, and they also mistake sattu as a professor because of his age. then pari, considered to be a freshman is ragged by seniors, when they ask her to propose to sattu, a professor. she happily complies. sattu stands boggled. meanwhile, the dean of the college notices it, and asks how dare she, being a professor proposes a student. pari listens tensedly.
