Hello everyone, this is Tanz back with part-15 of my ff. Thank you so much for supporting me all those of you read my ff, even the silent readers. I am really sorry because I was unable to reply to some of your comments, but I do read all of them and your comments really encourage me. So, let’s start with this part…

Recap – Annika enters Shivaay’s room and suddenly the lights turn on, meanwhile Om bolts the door from outside.
Inside Shivaay’s room
Annika is surprised to see the room . It’s not in its usual state, dull and boring. There are balloons ,some pink and some white, her favorite colors , some are lying on the floor and some flying near the roof of the room. Every balloon has something written on it . Annika picks up one of the balloon and reads what is written on it.

Annika : “What is written on this…. S…Sorry….”
She drops the balloon and moves ahead towards a table which has something kept on it, covered . Around the covered thing were kept white lilies, one of her favourite flowers. She picked up one flower and smelled it and smiled . Then, she slowly lifted the cover . Yet another surprise.
Under the cover was her favourite dish, aloo-poori ,kept in a plate . At the side of the plate was kept a folded paper. She picked up the paper and started reading what was written in it.
Annika (reading):” I know, I know you might be thinking what’s all this and above that what’s all this doing in my room.(she nods her head in disbelief and continues to read). So, let me tell you all these arrangements are for someone special in my life.

(She pauses for a while thinking whether she should continue reading it or not, maybe it was not meant for her, but at last she continues)Do you want to know who is that someone special? It’s you Annika, you, my best-friend or I can say my only real and true friend. This is all for you, because I am really really sorry for whatever I’ve done . I know I’ve hurt you, your self-respect but believe me I did not do that intentionally . Back then, when I gave you this job, my whole-sole motive was to help you and nothing else .But after that, you started coming here, we became friends ,then good friends and then best-friends. During this time, I totally understood that your self-respect was most precious to you. I wanted to tell you the truth then only but you were already so tensed about Saahil that I didn’t want you to stress more. Well, there was some selfish reason too, I didn’t want to lose my only friend. I was too scared but truth does come out in some way or the other and it did. I can’t afford to lose this friendship, but the final decision will be yours . And So I ask for your forgiveness . (by this time,tears are clearly visible in her eyes)If you have forgiven me, even a little bit, please come out through the window to the pool,I am waiting there for you,not through the door,that’s locked from outside.(she goes towards the door to find it locked and continues reading) Also, if you’re coming, please bring the aloo-poori along with you, I know you haven’t eaten anything since last night and I haven’t eaten anything too. So, both of us are hungry . I’m waiting.
Shivaay.”

After reading it, Annika wipes her tears and smiles. Then, she folds the paper and keeps it in her jeans’ pocket, picks the plate of aloo-poori and goes out towards the pool, through the window . Shivaay is sitting on the edge of the pool,legs half inside the pool and back towards her . Without turning his face, Shivaay says,
Shivaay : ”Come sit beside me Annika.”
Annika (while sitting down): “But how did you…”

Shivaay : ”I’ve told you many times Annika That I can sense you whenever you’re near me . Morever, I knew you would come.”
Annika : “ What if I hadn’t forgiven you?”
Shivaay : “Then also, you would have to come out through the window as the door was locked.”
Annika : ”But who locked the door? Did you…”
Shivaay : “No, I didn’t . Om did.”

Annika : “ Om locked the door…Oh…now I get it why they all were acting so weird today and why Rudra was bent on sending me to your room . It was all your plan, Wasn’t it?”
Shivaay : ”Yes. Now if this questioning session is over,can we please eat? I’m really hungry…”
Annika (turning a little to the other side) : “No , how can you eat this? It’s so oily…and what do you say…yeah unhygienic….No Shivaay Singh Oberoi can’t eat unhygienic food. Don’t worry, I’ll eat it myself.”
Shivaay : “ No. How can you do this to me Annika? I did so much hard work and now you’re not even allowing me to eat…not fair. (Shivaay acts like he’s angry)”
Annika : “ Okay,okay Don’t become SSO now. And don’t blame me later, I’ve warned you already. We’ll eat this together, happy now?”
Shivaay(smiles brightly) :” very happy “

They start eating .
Annika(while eating) : ”It’s very tasty. I’m sure I know this taste, maybe it’s been a long time since the last time I’ve eaten aloo-poori of the same taste that’s why I don’t remember who has made it. Who has made it ?”
Shivaay(smiles) : “You’ll know in sometime.”
After some time, they finish eating it.
Shivaay : “Come with me Annika, someone has come to meet you.”

Annika : “ Who has come ? Saahil ? No? then who?”
Shivaay : “the one who has made this tasty aloo-poori.”
Annika : “Oh, Ok let’s see who it is.”

Shivaay takes Annika to the hall where Jaya was waiting for her . Jaya was talking to Dadi then. Seeing her, tears came in Annika’s eyes , she was more than happy to see her mother there, waiting for her . To confirm all that which was going on in her mind she looked at Shivaay who nodded in a yes. Without thinking for another second, she ran towards Jaya and hugged her tightly . Overwhelmed by such a warm welcome by her daughter, Jaya too reciprocated the hug .Both of their hearts felt at peace like never before. After some time they broke their hug. Overcome by happiness, Annika found it difficult to speak so Jaya initiated.
Jaya : ”So, did you like the aloo-poori made by me? I had made something for you after such a long time(guilt was clearly visible on her face)…”

Annika : “ It was really very tasty Maa….I…I can’t even tell you the level of my happiness at this time. “
Jaya : “I am to be blamed for taking away your happiness from you…I was…I was such a terrible mother. I always blamed you for everything wrong that took place in my life…I even blamed you for Saahil’s accident…when the actual fault was mine….How can you ever forgive me for all that I’ve done… .”
Annika : “Please don’t say like this Maa, you are not at fault, you never were . I have always loved you and I always will . I just need your love and nothing else.”
Jaya : “Ok. What’s done can’t be undone but I promise that I will always love you because you’re my only daughter. I’ve missed many important things in your life but not now. I know you will take some time to accept me completely but I’ll wait for, always.”
Annika(forwards her little finger) : “Pinky promise?”

Jaya (interlocking her little finger with hers) : “ Yes, pinky promise . I don’t know if I’m doing this correctly ….I’ve seen you and Saahil doing this..”
Annika : “You’ve done it perfectly . Ok,now be a good maa and no more crying. Saahil will be coming any minute now and if sees us crying, he’ll make fun of us…”
Everyone laugh on that . After that Jaya ,Annika and Daadi start chatting like long-lost friends meeting after a long time. In the meantime, Shivaay gets busy with a call from his office. As soon as Shivaay disconnects the call,Annika pats on his shoulder from behind.
Shivaay(after turning towards her) : “Yes Annika?”

Annika : “Thank you so much Shivaay for everything. Maa told me about your meet some time before and how you consoled her . This is probably the happiest day in my life. Thank you so much .”
Shivaay : ”Wait a second, what did you say?”

So, I’m ending this part here . I hope you liked this part . I had completed this part some days before but then my ‘great wifi’ had some problem and hence this delay . I really don’t know if it was upto your expectations, because I personally feel I’m not really good with emotional scenes.
Also, many of you were asking if Jaya has really changed. Yes, she is truly trying to change herself. Morever, she was not much of a negative character, she was somewhat greedy and selfish. So, She just needed a jerk which she got when Saahil’s treatment started when she had lost all hopes and that was all because of Annika .
