We all remember the royal, gorgeous and extra ordinary wedding of YRKKH’s actress Mohena Kumari Singh. She belongs to a royal family and her wedding was no ordinary affair as she was dressed like a true princess.
Recently, a social media user took to the social media account and commented on the veil which Mohena is wearing. Along with her Rajputi poshak, she was wearing a bright red dupatta as a ghunghat. While fans were appreciating her beauty, there were some who were mocking her for being an educated person and still wearing a ghoonghat.
But Mohena is not the one who takes it lying down. She gave it back to the troll and that too with an epic reply. When a user wrote, “Why is your face under veil?” another one replied, “because these are people who follow the so called male dominated rituals. Even education doesn’t get them a brain.” This didn’t go down well with Mohena.
She lashed out at the two and wrote in the same thread, “Even Christians have a veil when they marry…and so do Muslims…I guess they are all uneducated too! It’s an age old Rajput tradition which Rajput women follow when they get married. This was not forced upon me…I chose to do it.”
he replied again to another user, “Guys…this is how misunderstandings start…read my comment properly. Let me spoon feed you before you misunderstand the whole thing…This person called people who follow a rajput tradition of wearing a veil, uneducated…so I said that just like Rajputs, Christians and Muslims also wear veils…so why are they calling us Rajputs uneducated just because we like to follow a few things that are a part of our culture.”
