Mohit K Sachdev bids farewell to Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet

Television actor Mohit K Sachdev bids farewell to the TV show Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, where he portrayed the character of Narender, the brother of the protagonist Shagun Pandey. Mohit revealed his desire to explore negative or grey-shaded roles on the screen after portraying a positive character.

Expressing his sentiments in an interview with Etimes, he stated, “I have concluded my wonderful journey portraying a gentleman in the TV show Meet. With the show undergoing a significant time leap, I made the decision to move forward and seek new opportunities. My character Narender possessed good and genuine ideologies, but now I yearn to immerse myself in a completely different role, whether it be negative or grey-shaded. Nevertheless, I am also open and excited to embrace whatever comes my way.”

He further expressed his wish to take on challenging roles. He elaborated, saying, “I deeply connected with my role in the show. Narender loved his family and wife dearly. He was a pillar of support and responsibility, even in challenging circumstances. I was the one in the family who consistently chose ethical paths, just like how I am in real life. I am very sorted and clear, with no intention to create trouble for anyone. Hence, I aspire to take on promising roles in the future that do not easily resonate with me and can challenge the actor within. I eagerly look forward to entertaining my audience.”

The actor also shared his experience working on the show. He expressed, “I had an incredibly positive experience while shooting for the show. It played a pivotal role in gaining recognition for me. I am grateful to our director, Pushkar sir, who is a gem of a person and guided me to deliver my best performance. Additionally, I formed beautiful bonds with my team and co-stars. We still hang out and stay in touch. The producers have been incredibly humble and kind, and I would love to collaborate with them again in the future.”
