All thoughout the last year and this one too, we have heard bad news one after the other. Only on a few instances we have heard a news which brings a smile to our faces. Actor Mohit Mallik welcoming a new member in his family was one of those instances. He was on a break and was enjoying his moments with the lil one.
Now he is all set to resume work and has opened up to ETimes about the same. Malik said, “A lot of people, especially producers, are assuming that I am not open to doing television, which is not true. I had been on a break because Addite and I became parents, but I am a workaholic and have been at home for three months now. I would love to get back to work. I want to do a TV or web show with a good concept. Due to Addite’s pregnancy and the pandemic, I felt it was important to remain at home and look after my child and wife. But now after three months, I am itching to get back to work. I love being an actor — I can’t stay away from the sets for a long time.”
In fact, he was offered Khatron Ke Khiladi – Darr v/s Dare which is missed out on. About it, he said, Yes, I missed out on Khatron… this year and feel bad about it. Last year, too, I had been offered the show, but I was busy shooting for something else and could not do it. This year, they were leaving for Cape Town on May 6 and my baby’s due date was May 5.”
As we know that Malik welcomed a baby boy with wife on April 29th while on the workfront, he was last seen in the show, Lockdown Ki Love Story which went off-air back in January 2021.
