The Episode starts with Armaan asking Soumya to write for her family’s sake and become a writer. He says I have to keep my promise. She cries and recalls his promise. He says you will write. She says I have promised Sushma, I can’t break it. He asks why, does a bahu have all the responsibilities, doesn’t a daughter have any duty, I can pay the loan for your family’s sake, but I know your self respect is imp, you didn’t take my help in the hospital too, you write and do work, if I don’t support you, then how will I meet your parents’ eyes, I m your husband and want to help you in taking a right decision. Soumya says no Armaan, I won’t break the promise given to Sushma. Armaan lights a diya on his hand. He says I will leave my house, promise me, you will write. She holds his hand
She starts writing. Sushma comes there and picks the papers. Soumya worries. Armaan comes and says I told you to put my script papers in the file, pick it up. Sushma says oh, its your script. He says yes, why. She says oh, I thought … nothing, I have some work, Soumya come downstairs. She goes. Armaan says I came on the right time, don’t worry, focus on good writing, I will explain mom and dad, send the story to me before deadline. Soumya asks how can I write so soon. He says I don’t know anything, I want the script on time. He goes.
Soumya goes to Sushma. Sushma says I have become a member of exclusive club, Kashish and I will go there for lunch. Soumya says it’s a good news, congrats. Sushma asks her to tag the gifts and steam press her saree. She asks her to bead up the pearls string. She goes. Soumya thinks what to do. She rushes with the work. Sushma asks what, you can’t come, how will I go. She sees Soumya on phone. Sushma says she didn’t do the work. Soumya asks shall I drop you. Sushma says no, I can’t take risk, do you know driving. Soumya says don’t worry, I will make you reach safely. Sushma says fine, I will come. Soumya messages Armaan. Soumya gets the scooty. Sushma asks what’s this. Soumya says I don’t know car driving, but I can drive scooty, come. She convinces Sushma and takes her on the scooty.
They reach the club. Sushma asks is my hair and makeup okay. Soumya says you look good. She goes to send the script. The lady says you can’t go inside. Sushma asks why. The lady says saree isn’t allowed inside. Sushma asks what’s wrong in this saree, I wear designer sarees. She argues. Soumya comes. Sushma says Armaan Oberoi is my son. The lady says we can’t change rules. Soumya asks are you sure that you won’t give entry to ladies wearing sarees. The lady says yes. Sushma says they aren’t giving me the entry. Soumya says its fine, we will show them the power of women and class. She posts the video on social media. The video goes viral. Armaan says you will get the script on time, don’t worry. He says why didn’t Soumya send the script. He sees Soumya’s viral video.
Soumya says people think the women who wear sarees are low class, it’s the respect and identity of an Indian woman, this club doesn’t think saree is smart, its strange, our country is ashamed of it, shouldn’t this change. The girl says Soumya and your mom have become sensational, its amazing. He says yes, thanks. He says I asked Soumya to write script, and she is running after this cheap publicity, what shall I do. The club manager apologizes to Sushma and says we have change the club rules, anyone can come to the club wearing sarees. Sushma thanks Soumya. She says your words have magic, you showed that woman and sarees have power. Kashish and Sushma smile. Soumya gets happy.
