Naira was a nerdy girl with thick glasses. She was a junior in her high school. She was in love with the hottest guy in the entire school whose name was Chandu

C:-“Haha! Shut up. Nobody would like you! Who do you think I am?”
Naira had feared he would say something like that. She was devastated. She started running. She didn’t want to face him ever again. All these thoughts and feelings ran throughout her head. Until, she bumped into something.
She had bumped into Kartik Kapoor.
“Hey, whats up?”
“WHAT?! I’ll GO TELL HIM! WHERE DOES HE GET THAT NERVE!
K:-SOMETIMES, I DON’T KNOW WHY I’M HIS BEST FRIEND! THAT’S IT! i’M GOING TO GO BEAT HIM UP!”

N:-“NO! Kartik! Don’t do it! It’s not his fault. I was the foolish one to think we can ever date.”
K:-“But Naira!”
N:-” No, it’s OK! I should go.”
” Naira….. Kartik grabbed her by the wrist as she was getting up. Don’t go.”
Naira stared into his eyes and felt so warm and fuzzy; a feeling she didn’t feel for a long time. But, she looked away. She saw in such a long time, it felt awkward to feel it again. And then she gently took her wrist out of Kartik’s grasp and slowly walked away from him with tears in her eyes.
K:-“Dammit, Kartik! You really did it this time! Naira just left you! And why are you trying to hit on her?”
Kartik walked back home with his hands stuffed in his pocket. Thoughts of Naira ran throughout his head. He didn’t want Naira to be hurt by a jackass (that stupid). He wanted to show her that he loved her. He wanted to show her he cared. But Naira just seemed to ignore him. And then, something ran into him. He crashed on the ground and saw Naira was on top of him. She seemed to not know whom she crashed into. Kartik smiled.
N:-“Oh, I’m so sorry. I’m very, very sorry. I should have been more careful.. I’m sorry. Can I repay you somehow?”
“Naira”, said, lifting her chin and brushing her bangs. Naira looked through his soft eyes and almost melted.
“Kartik….” said Naira. Suddenly, she started crying. Kartik was shocked.
K:-” N-Naira? What’s wrong?”
N:-“I’ m s-s-such a f-fool! H-How c-c-can I th-think t-that h-h-ee c-can love me?”
K:-“Naira.. I would not call that foolish.. I actually admire you going up to him and confessing. However, crying about him is indeed foolish. Naira, Don’t cry about that jerk. Here, let’s go to my house. We’re right in front of it!” Naira nodded.
Kartik led her to the bathroom.
“Take off your glasses. We need to wipe those tears off.” He said with a smile.
Naira took them off without speaking a word.
Kartik turned on the water and wet a washcloth. Then, he gently wiped her tears off her face.
N:-” Maindhak.. Do you love me?”
Kartik was startled by this comment.
K:-” Why do you ask me that?”
N:-” Because.. it seems like it. Do you?”
K:-” Haha! , you are my friend. ( no ms. Rishikesh becoz memory erased?)
N:-” Oh.. OK. I think I’m not so teary now. Thanks, Kartik.”
K:-” No Problem. Do you want something to drink?”
” Um… OK.” She followed Kunj out the door.
He handed her a glass of orange juice and they sat down outside on a bench.
K:-” Are you going to be all right?”
N:-” Yeah.. Thanks. But I don’t think I’ll be able to face him again.”
K:-” When he calls you something bad, just yell my name. OK?”
N:-” OK.” she said with a small laugh.
N:-” But what are you going to do when I call you?”
K:-” I’m going to beat him up!”
N:-” What if everyone starts hating u?”
K:-” It doesn’t matter. As long as the one girl I love is happy.”
N:-” Ooh, Kartik! You like someone?”
K-:” Yeah.. Guess. I’ll never tell u until u get the right answer.”
N:-” Hmm… is it Gayu? She’s pretty! Aww but she is already engaged to Vihaan. What about Shivangi? She’s nice and quiet. Or is it Kaanchi? She’s generous. Or maybe it’s Hina! She’s not all that nice though…”
After a few tries, she gave up.
N:-“Who is it? I’m dying of curiosity!”
K:-” Let’s see.. she has glasses.. she’s in love with Chandu, she’s sitting right next to me! Naira let out a small gasp.”
N:-” M-Me?” Kartik nodded. Naira almost passed out.
N:-” maindak, u have gone mad”
Kartik started laughing.
K:-” Why won’t u believe me? I like u.. I want u to be my girlfriend.”
N:-” But u’r d second hottest guy in school! What if everyone criticizes you for bad taste in girls?”
K:-” I don’t care¦ I told u. As long as the one girl I love is happy.” he said, smiling.
N:-” No, really, Kartik. No games this time. All serious.. all right?”
K:-” Yeah.. I know.”
N:-” Oh my god…”( covering her mouth with her hand)
“Naira, I just want to be the right guy for u.” he said while putting his arm around her shoulder. She leaned against him and for the first time, she felt accepted by someone special and smiled whole heartily.
N:-“But, Maindak! Why did you say I was just a friend before?”
K:-“Umm! I didn’t feel like it was time yet.” Naira nodded. She knew how hard it was to say, “I love you.” She knew how nervous u would feel. And she knew how hard it was to feel the reject.
N:-“I understand, Kartik. I’m just glad u told me. I’ll think about it.”
K:-“Naira, do you still like Chandu?”
N:-“Yes I think
K:-“What has he got, that I don’t?”
N:-“I just don’t know! I mean! you two look the same! u guys wear things all similarly! but I like Chandu more”
K:-“All right! I’ll make him like u. He knows he’s not going to win in a fight.” Naira wrapped him in her arms.
N:-“maindak! I’m all right. You don’t have to do all that.” And then he wrapped her in his arms.

C:-“What up, dude?”
K:-“It’s about Naira!”
C:-“Oh no! don’t tell me about that ugly duckling! I just barf when I hear her name!”
K:-“SHUT UP! DUDE, U JUST HAVE TO GIVE HER A CHANCE! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WID U?”
C:-“Hey! I have many other girls who want me madly. The least thing I need now is another girl who is ugly and slow liking me.”
K:-“She’s not ugly and slow! She’s kind and beautiful from her heart. When you get to know her!”
C:-“Wait! do u!?”
K:-“Yes! I do!”
C:-“Haha! Then why don’t u date her?”
K:-“Becoz! she’s in love with u stupid!”
C:-“STILL? Haha! Man, she’s hilarious! After I rejected her like that?”
K:-“Hey! plz! it would mean a lot to me! just say that u at least like her as a friend and apologize for what happened last time. Man, she came running all the way to my house and started crying. She was just out of control. Just tell her that plz?”
C:-“All right!”
K:-“You’re the best!” ( in mind- kya kya krna pdta hai pyar mai aur kis kis ke mooh lagna padta hai)

C:-“Hey, Naira! I’m sorry for what happened last time. I was sort of tired and grouchy. I wasn’t in a good mood. I never wanted to say it that way. I like u as a friend. And I want to keep that friendship between us. All right?” Chandu let out a hand for a shake. Naira nodded. She let out her hand and they had a friendship shake, which made Kartik smile.
K:-“See? Chandu likes you! He wants be ur friend. All cool with u?”
N:-“Yes..” she said softly. Kartik took her hand and walked away with her.
K:-“You all right, now?”
N:-“Yeah!” she nodded. “But he only wants us to be friends! because I’m a nerd!”
“Naira! Why don’t you ever think about me? You know he’s a jerk! Why do u mope around for that! So what, if he doesn’t like you! Everyone is different, Naira. To my eyes, you are a beauty. You can’t always think about him! There are other guys out there for you! Not just chandu and me! I really don’t want to see you like this.”
N:-“Maindak! Do you really love me?”
K:-“I don’t think I need to answer that!” They stared at each other for a long time.
N:-“Kartik!” She tried to push him away and he staggered a little.
K:-“Naira! answer this for me! Kya tum mujhse pyaar karti ho?
N:-“Kartik, I never intended to be ur girlfriend. I just want to be ur friend.”
K:-“Oh, I see! you’re treating me like how Chandu treated you. You don’t want to be my girlfriend becoz I’m way different than u. You don’t want to be my girlfriend because I’m better looking than u and u’r afraid that people will jeer you because of that. Tum darti ho. Well, you know what? I don’t care about any of that!” And with that, he grabbed her and locked her lips into his. But too his surprise naira also responded him. It was a long and passionate kiss. They both were enjoying to the fullest. They moved apart only to take oxygen.
K:- I know u enjoyed it.
Naira blushed badly. It was all the part of her strange feelings for her maindak which was love but she was unable to understand.
N:-“Oh, u really do love me!” She hugged him.
K:-“But, Naira! do u still have feelings for him?”
N:-“I will always have but for u not for him.
K:- really?
N:- yes……. I love u kunj
K:- i think i m dreaming…… pinch me
She does.
K:- ouch.. It’s reality, u love me. ( lifts her and revolves around)
N:- yes I do…. I was so foolish not to recognize my real feelings for u.
K:- But what was that which u did wid Chandu.
N:- I think it was just attraction but I was a fool to think it as love.
K:-Naira u know I m the happiest person in the whole universe that i got u in my life today.
N:- And I m the luckiest person to have u.
After completing their studies they inform their parents about their relationship. Firstly they disagreed for the marriage but later accepted them. The couple lived happily together forever.

Kaisi lgi story line… This is d tym I uploaded smthing on this page. Plz tell how is it. Kartik was just an ordinary guy.. No rishikesh wala… No shakh… And most importantly chandu… Most handsm guy in skul? ik tum log soch rhe honge..M i mad or what yeh kya story hai but mai toh jaisi hun waisi hi hoon.
