In recent news, Munawar Faruqui has been at the center of attention, particularly with the revelation of Ayesha Khan, his purported former girlfriend, making a wildcard entry into Bigg Boss 17. The show took an intense turn when Ayesha directly confronted Munawar regarding his relationships with both her and his girlfriend, Nazila, questioning whether he had been double-dating them.
The unfolding drama commenced with Bigg Boss summoning Munawar to the Archive room, where he encountered a furious Ayesha Khan. She vehemently asked Munawar about deceiving her and allegedly engaging in a romantic relationship with both her and Nazila simultaneously. Munawar, in response, offered an apology for his dishonesty.
Ayesha voiced her grievances, stating, “You assured me of your breakup with Nazila, yet you openly discussed your relationship with her on the show. Where did I stand in all of this? You professed love for me and expressed the desire to spend quality time, right before entering the show. If it was solely between me and her, I might have overlooked it, but the involvement of so many other women complicates things.”
In his defense, Munawar clarified, “I admitted to my mistake of lying to you. I pretended to be in a relationship with Nazila to prevent news of our breakup from spreading. I did express my love for you and didn’t deceive anyone.” As the conversation progressed, Munawar became visibly emotional, expressing remorse: “I’m aware that I’ve caused heartache, and I’m deeply upset about it. I’m feeling terrible, and if Bigg Boss opens the door, I’m ready to leave.”
Amid Munawar’s emotional turmoil, Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and other housemates stepped in to console and calm him down.
