Actor Munmun Dutta, who is known for essaying the role of Babita in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is finally back on the sets after a long break. Earlier it was speculated that her controversy regarding using casteist slurs was the reason for her not being a part of the team anymore. However, all the rumors were refuted by the makers eventually and now, it is confirmed that Munmun is back on the sets of the show.
According to a source walked Munmun returned to the set and the cast and crew were pleasantly surprised to see her. This also indicates that Munmun and the makers of the show have reached an agreement after the controversy broke away.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been garnering good numbers since its 13 years of runtime. The show is the longest-running sitcom in Indian Television history.
