Avni convinces Pandit’s victims to file complaints against her, helping Neil get his suspension revoked.

Avni is making the bed when Neil comes in. He helps her with the pillows and hops into bed.
AVNI: [walking away from the bed] Let me go bring water.
NEIL: to woh kya hai! [pointing at the jug of water on the side table, with his eye, an impish smile on his face]
Avni looks at the table, smiles back at Neil, is about to get into bed herself, when she changes mind and walks towards the open door.
NEIL: Where to now?
AVNI: Let me close the door, Neil.
NEIL: [the same impish smile] What are your intensions, wifey?
AVNI: [shakes her head] tum na…
NEIL: Why, I’m just asking.
AVNI: No intensions whatsoever. Go to sleep, ACP Neil Khanna.
NEIL: Well, you heard what Papa said at dinner – they are all waiting in anticipation for a grandchild.
Avni remembers the time Neela Ma had talked about how much fun it would be to play with her grandchildren, and Avni had agreed, without realizing she set herself up to have her leg pulled…. She smiles….
NEIL: [really happy to see her smile, he sits up on his knees on the bed] Hey, kya baat hai.
Avni shakes her head, realizing she’s been smiling and Neil has been watching.
NEIL: Wondering ‘beti’, or ‘beta’? [gets another shake of the head from Avni, he gives out a sigh] Tell me what you are thinking. Tell me what you feel.
AVNI: No I just remembered… [wait… suddently the mention of ‘beta’ brought back some other memory. Gurumaa has a son. Yes, she has. NEIL: Seriously! Ragini Pandit? That’s what you have been thinking? [he smirks and shakes his head]
AVNI: nahin Neil. I was thinking about something Neela Ma had said about grandchildren. But suddenly I remembered something I saw at Rang Mahal.
NEIL: Avni, you..
AVNI: Neil, listen to me. Ragini Pandit has a son. [gets a shock from Neil] Yes, I saw him there. Didn’t see his face, but I saw him. He is tall, young, and everyone fears him. I saw him torment Juhi. He is out there somewhere.
NEIL: [wears a serious tone now] And where was he when we came?
AVNI: I don’t know. He must have left after the puja, but Neil, I know what I saw. He came, and she talked to him, he threatened Juhi. We should ask her…
NEIL: Not now, let’s deal with it tomorrow. And Avni, I know I sound like a broken tape, but you need to be very very careful. This guy if he is out there, can be dangerous. Will you please listen to me and be extra cautious. [she nods] And promise me you will not go looking for him. [she nods again, “God, help me find him before he hurts my Neil”]
