Actor Aditya Ojha, who is known for his role of Yug Pratap in Namak Ishq Ka, is a devotee of Lord Shiva in her real life also. Talking about the importance of Sawan in his life during an interview with BT, he shared, “Just like my onscreen character, in my real life too, I am devoted to Lord Shiva. The month of Sawan is connected with the worship of Mahadev. We make sure to offer our prayers every Monday, especially during this month.”
Aditya’s family in Bihar follows the rituals Sawan Mass every year. “We have a family ritual to unite at our hometown Chhapra for a grand celebration dedicated to Lord Shiva. We have all shifted to different cities for our work, but we make it a point to return to our hometown for this. It gives us an opportunity to be together. This year, owing to his work commitments, he culdn’t travel back home. “But apart from that, I am following all the other rituals in this month,” he says adding, “I wish and pray that Lord Shiva keeps us safe, healthy, happy and gives us the strength to stay away from negativity.”
Aditya who is a popular name in the Bhojpuri films, made his television debut in 2020 with Namak Ishq Ka. He is the son of well-known Bhojpuri writer-director Ajay Ojha.
