Namak Issk Ka featuring Shruti Sharma and Aditya Ojha in lead roles will soon go off-air. Lead actress Shruti confirmed the news in an interview with BT. She shared, “I got the official confirmation yesterday about the show going off-air. Although we don’t have a specific date about the last date of the shoot we might wrap up either by the middle of next month or by August-end.”
She further adds, “I’m still processing the news. Of course, as an actor, I do feel a bit disappointed but a show going off-air is part of our journey. Since the pandemic, every channel and show is going through a lot of changes. While we were expecting that our show will be able to cross the one-year mark, I’m happy that we had a good run of close to 7-8 months. However, the producers and showmakers are in talks with the channel if we can get a new time slot, so we all are keeping our fingers crossed for a miracle.”
Quiz her what’s next on her platter? Shruti shares, “There are a few TV and OTT offers coming my way and I’m trying to pick the best one. However, before signing a new show I would want to take out some time and be with my family or take a small vacay following all safety guidelines. I would love to explore some new destination before the shoot begins as once you commit to a daily show it takes up a lot of your time, so I want to make the most of my break.”
The show was launched in December 2020 and is expected to go off-air by August this year.

Can’t say that i’m surprised.
Not so surprised 🙄🙄🙄
The show shouldn’t have more negativity, and I think the show going off air is the best opinion. But sadly show has many scopes to proceed if they didn’t end it up words that way. Show would have been better if they had some thing unique storyline after intro of Yug and Kahani ! The show where female lead is a honourable dancer is a rare concept and the show just damaged the uniqueness of the scope of better storyline ! Rare concept ke sath khilwad karne ka aware jaata hai 4 lions production house ko…there are some of the good shows by this PH but they have an even greater proportion of shows having good start and ending up worse !
