Neerja’s heartfelt prayer to Kalima, the God she worships, in which she contemplates whether God has ever shown her love. In a moment of self-doubt, Neerja tears up all her notes. She challenges Kalima, stating that if the God wishes to be her mother, she must prove herself. Meanwhile, Abir finds himself lost on a deserted road but hears the sound of a bell emanating from a nearby temple.
Abir and his father reach Sonagachi, Abir’s father goes to get umbrella, he comes back and doesn’t see Abir around.
Abir passing by temple hears Neerja pray and thinks its Trisha and walks towards the temple but doesn’t see her. Neerja walks away. Abir starts looking for Trisha.
Abir bumps into Neerja and both fall down. Abir sees Neerja. Neerja says sorry I didn’t see you
The two engage in a heated exchange, with Neerja vehemently denying she is Trisha, Abir’s deceased wife. Despite Neerja’s refusal to accept his claims, Abir stands firm in his conviction. It thunders, Neerja sees Abir in pain and goes to help him. Abir hugs her. Neerja confused. Abir says to her please don’t leave me/ Neerja says I won’t come with me and takes him to shelter and gets water for him. Bijay sees Abir with Neerja and Neerja taking care of him. Neerja asks Abir who he is and what he wants. Bijay walks to her and says he is my son, thankyou for taking care of him. Bijay says he is here to take soil, Abir says to Neerja, Trisha come with me we will go home and talk. Bijay calms Abir and apologises on behalf of Abir. Abir says my Trisha is here, I won’t go without her. Bijay says she will come lets go ahead and takes Abir with him.
Before heading home, Bijay takes Abir to see a doctor to assess his mental state. The doctor inquires about the reason behind Abir’s attitude, and Bijay mentions Neerja’s name. The doctor questions if there are any similarities between Trisha and Neerja, to which Bijay replies in the negative. Abir gets angry and says she is my Trisha and he didn’t let me meet her and tries to kill himself. Doctor calms Abir and says I trust you, and now you should rest.
Pisi Maa making arrangements. Munmun pretends to help everyone in the house. Abir’s mother and Pisi Maa waiting for Abir and Bijay. Pisi Maa says today Abir went to get soil so Durga Maa will bless him.
Bijay confides in the doctor, revealing that Abir was an intelligent child but has struggled with blaming himself and experiencing mental instability since Trisha’s death who he was going to marry. Doctor tells Bijay, Abir is not able to overcome the fact that he wasn’t able to save Trisha. Bijay remembers how efficient and happy and the light of their house was Abir and now everything is lost. Doctor says Abir needs a miracle.
Abir and Bijay get home. Pisi Maa asks what happened, why are you wet and didn’t you get soil. Abir says I got something else and holds a paper in his hand. The paper is torn part of notes torn by Neerja. Mosomi asks Abir is everything alright and asks him to go rest. Bijay tells Pisi Maa about what happened in Sonagachi and defends Neerja saying that she is educated girl and isn’t part of that community instead she is very lovely.
Meanwhile, back in the brothel, Didun shows Neerja some needlework and informs her that she must prepare for the arrival of a wealthy customer the following day. Neerja promises to settle all the debts accumulated over the past 20 years, but Didun expresses impatience and says tomorrow, Partima’s debt will be settled. Pratima hiding and listening to their conversation.

Abir sees Neerja in office and says never leave me and puts dupatta on her head and says our hearts are together no one will separate us.
