Neerja 2nd August 2023 Written Episode Update: Neerja’s Grahpravesh ritual takes place

Pishi Maa forced to welcome Abir and Neerja on Abir’s insistence. Upon entering, they hear the temple bell ring, and Abir says even God is welcoming her. They perform her grahpravesh.

Pishi Maa tells Abir to go and rest in his room while she has something to discuss with the new daughter-in-law of the house. As Abir leaves, Pishi Maa asks Bijoy if he informed Neerja about all the conditions to stay in the house. Bijoy tries to stop her from saying anything harsh and assures her that Moushumi will take care of it.

However, Pishi Maa doesn’t stop and insists that certain traditions don’t change. She lays out her conditions for Neerja and those are she shouldn’t step into the kitchen at any cost, she should eat separately and not with the family, she shouldn’t participate

in any household rituals or Pooja as she’s considered an outsider and can never become a part of the family and she should not try to build any relationships with the family members as they are not her own family. Pishi Maa tells her to get close to Abir only when necessary, as their relationship is just a fake one. She also asks Moushumi not to show Neerja around the whole house as it’s not necessary.

Neerja is taken to Abir’s room by a servant, and on the way, the servant remembers that he forgot to keep milk in Pishi Maa’s room. He rushes back to do so and guides Neerja to Abir’s room.

Bijoy thanks Pratima for her favor and expresses his gratitude. Pratima tells him to treat Neerja like his own daughter, and that’s all she expects from him. She explains that Neerja was never separated from her since birth and knows nothing about the outside world. Pratima asks Bijoy to forgive Neerja if she makes any mistakes and to take care of her well. As Pratima leaves, Kaushik confronts Bijoy, questioning whether Neerja is really from an orphanage. Bijoy asks him not to question him and warns him to stay within limits. Kaushik gets angry at the discrimination.

Pratima returns home to find Sharmili in distress. Bappan behaves violently and demands to know where Neerja is, accusing her of selling Neerja to rich people. Pratima refuses to disclose Neerja’s whereabouts even if threatened. Didun intervenes and warns Bappan to stop pursuing Neerja, stating that she is in a deserving place and asks him to leave. Pratima is worried about Neerja, and Bijoy asks Moushumi to make sure Neerja has something to eat as Pishi Maa was rude to her. Moushumi assures him that she has already sent food to both Abir and Neerja in their room and expresses her trust in Neerja to heal Abir.

Neerja enters Abir’s room in a panic, while Abir tries to get romantic with her. Neerja tries to distance herself from him.

Pre cap :Abir dancing with Neerja and getting romantic with her. Abir feeds Neerja saying that he knows she loves food from his hand. He also makes her feed him, saying he’s hungry. He falls asleep on her lap, expressing that he never slept peacefully after she left him.
