I am unhappy with Sai marrying Satya no matter whatever the justification be, so I wanted to write a piece of work where Sai realizes that she was indeed wrong in her decision. This piece of work was inspired when I was wondering how would things evolve if Sai and Virat’s roles were interchanged that is if Sai would be the one to propose Virat when she is bound in a relationship with Satya.
So this story takes place a few months after Saiya’s fake marriage. Sai had enacted a fake marriage with Satya to keep Virat away from her. During the period of enacting the fake marriage, Satya falls in love with Sai and wants to take his relationship a step forward by making their fake marriage real, while Sai realizes that she committed a mistake by marrying Satya.
Part 1
Chavan Nivas
Bhavani and Virat are having a chat. Bhavani, “It’s been six months now since Satya and Sai’s marriage, Virat. How long will you ruin your life thinking about Sai?” Virat, “I don’t know Kaku but I cannot stop thinking about Sai.” Bhavani, “Sai is now someone else’s wife Virat. You have to let go of her and move on in your life.” Virat, “I don’t think Kaku that I will be able to do that.” On saying that he sadly leaves. Bhavani looks on dejectedly and says, “You will have to move on from Sai, Virat and I know how to make you do it.”
Next Day
Sai is sitting in a café and waiting for someone. She feels glad on noticing Virat enter the café. Virat excitedly comes and sits opposite Sai and asks her, “What is it Sai? Why did you want to meet me?” Sai remembers something.
Flashback, Bhavani and Sai had a meeting earlier. Bhavani “I have called you to discuss an important matter.” Sai, “What is it?” Bhavani sighing, “Sai I know you have moved on in your life and there is no place for Virat in your life anymore.” Sai sadly looked on. Bhavani continues, “But Virat is yet to acknowledge that fact Sai!!” Sai, “So what should I do?” Bhavani, “Ask him to move on.” Sai, “Do you think that Virat would listen to me?” Bhavani, “Right now he keeps you above everything in his life. I’m hundred percent sure that he will listen to you. Sai, please, you need to do this because it’s not just Virat who is suffering now, your kids are involved too. So atleast by thinking about your kids make Virat to move on in his life.” Sai anxiously looked on. Flashback ends.
Sai comes out of her thoughts when Virat snaps and asks her, “Where are you lost Sai? I asked why did you want to meet me?” Sai gathers strength and utters, “I need a favor from you Virat.” Virat happily, “Ask and it will yours Sai.” Sai takes a deep long breath and tells him, “I want you to bring back Pakhi to your life Virat.” Virat was shocked. He gets up from his place angrily and asks her, “What are you saying Sai?” Sai catches his hand and says, “Listen Virat, you divorced Pakhi Didi for me. Now won’t you bring her back to your life for me?” Virat looking away, “It is impossible Sai as I cannot burden Pakhi once again with a loveless marriage.” Sai, “You need not make her your wife but can’t make her the mother of your kids?” Virat surprisingly looked at Sai. Sai continues, “I left my children with you thinking that you can provide them a better family than I can but how can a family be complete without a mother?” Virat was dumbstruck. He did not know how to answer that question. He waits for a moment and tells her, “I only love you Sai and I can’t love anyone else the way I love you.” After saying that, he turns around and leaves while Sai stared at him from behind in teary eyes.
That day, Sai was unable to sleep. She turned around and around the bed pondering on Virat’s words on how he said that he loves her and cannot love anyone the way he loves her. Sai gets wondering, “Why am I not able to stop thinking of what Virat said? What is wrong with me?” Finally she gets up to go and get some water. As she was drinking water, she hears a voice from behind saying “Can’t sleep?” Sai turns around to see her alter ego standing in front of her, “Tsk-tsk, you tried numerous ways to get rid of Virat from your life. You even enacted a fake marriage with another man such that Virat stays away from you but are you able keep Virat away from your mind?” Sai to the alter ego, “What do you mean?” The alter ego, “You know what I mean!! You are unable to get rid of Virat’s thoughts because YOU STILL LOVE HIM!!” Sai was taken aback. You cheated your destiny and tried to run away from Virat until now but how will you run away from your own mind?” Sai gets thinking. Her heart thumped fast and her eyes filled with tears of joy as she realized that she was still in love with Virat. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein romantic tone plays in the background. She looks up towards her alter-ego and smilingly says, “Yes I still love Virat!!” The alter-ego nods and vanishes. After the alter-ego vanished, Sai wipes her tears and says, “Enough of running away from you Virat. I believe it’s never too late to accept your love and together with Vinu and Savi, we will stay as a happy family.” She then goes back to her bed and sleeps peacefully dreaming of happy moments with Virat, Vinayak and Savi.
Days pass by with Sai constantly trying to confess her feelings to Virat but due to many uncanny circumstances, she was unable to do it. Finally, Sai decides to record her confession in a pendrive and gift it to Virat. After recording her love confession, Sai goes to Chavan Nivas to meet Virat.
Chavan Nivas
The children were excited to see Sai and hug her affectionately. Sai looks around for Virat. Bhavani senses her desire to meet Virat and tells her, “Virat is working in his room. You can go and meet him there.” Sai nods then turning towards Savi and Vinayak, she informs that she will be back in a few minutes. The children happily agree. After that, she heads towards Virat’s room.
Virat’s room
Virat is busy going through his divorce papers with Pakhi when Sai knocks at the door. Virat was delighted to see Sai and tells her, “I was about to come and meet you but it seems you read my mind and came here.” Sai smiles and asks him, “Why did you want to meet me?” Virat hesitates for a moment and tells her, “Actually there is something that I wanted to tell you.” Sai, “Even I want to tell you something” Virat, “Alright go ahead, ladies first” Sai blushingly looks at the pendrive in her hand and says, “No this time you go first.” Virat takes a deep long breath, comes forward and hugs Sai. A chill passed through Sai’s spine, she felt her heartbeat race fast as her body sensed Virat’s warmth. She is about to reciprocate his hug when Virat tells in her ears, “I’m ready to rekindle my relationship with Pakhi, Sai” Sai’s eyes widened in shock and she unconsciously puts down the pendrive from her hand. She struggled to hold on her tears as Virat pulled her facing him. Virat continues, “You were right Sai. My children need a mother and nobody other than Pakhi can take that place after you.” Sai trying hard to control her tears gives out a fake smile. Virat goes on, “So I have decided that I will bring back Pakhi to this house for Vinu and Savi. Aren’t you happy now?” Sai still continuing to control her tears tells him, “I’m very happy for you Virat” Virat smiles and tells her, “Then wish me good luck Sai. I’m going to talk to Pakhi tomorrow.” Sai catches Virat’s hand and tells him, “All the best Virat, my wishes are always with you.” Virat smiles. Sai turns around to leave when Virat calls her from behind and asks her, “What was it that you wanted to tell me?” Sai dotingly looks at Virat and tells her, “I’m so happy right now with your decision that I forgot what I wanted to tell you. Let me go downstairs, Vinu and Savi are waiting for me” Virat nods. Sai turns around facing away from Virat and bursts into tears thinking, “I thought I was NEVER TOO LATE to profess my feelings to you Virat but now I realized that it has become too late.” Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein dramatic tone plays in the background. After Sai was out of the vicinity. Virat gets thinking, “Tomorrow I will meet Pakhi and convey her my desire to restart our relationship in a new way.”
Next Day
Virat is all set to go and meet Pakhi when he notices a pendrive on the floor. He picks it up and wonders whose pendrive it is. He decides to check it and connects it to his laptop. He sees a file named “For Virat” and opens it to watch a video recording from Sai. Sai in the video, “Hi Virat, you must be thinking why your jangli billi is acting like a mouse and creating videos for you when she is brave enough to tell what is there in her mind loudly. The thing is that Virat, what I’m saying in this video is something very special which I was unable to tell you in person.” Virat gets curious. Sai continues, “In the past few days I have been thinking over and over about you and could not decipher why is it happening with me? Then one fine day I got the answer.” Virat looks on eagerly to know what was the answer. Sai sighs for a moment, closes her eyes and says, “It is because I LOVE YOU Virat.” Virat’s eyes widened in awe. He was left mouth agape as he heard those three magical words which he always wanted to hear from Sai. Sai concludes by saying, “And it’s NEVER TOO LATE for us to become Sairat once again.” Virat looked on. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein dramatic tone plays in the background.
