New actors join the cast of ‘Suhaagan’ as the show takes a 10-year leap
Actors Garima Kishnani, Anshula Dhawan, and Raghav Thakur have joined the cast of ‘Suhaagan’ as the show prepares to take a leap of 10 years. The story revolves around Bindiya, who carries the burden of household chores for her extended family, enduring mistreatment alongside her sister Payal. With the leap, the tale of the two sisters undergoes an exciting transformation, bringing significant changes to their respective journeys.
Following the leap, the role of 23-year-old Bindiya will be portrayed by the talented debutant Garima Kishnani, while the beautiful Anshula Dhawan will essay the character of 21-year-old Payal. The narrative introduces a new character named Krishna, portrayed by the skilled actor Raghav Thakur. Krishna, a 23-year-old wealthy individual, aspires to lead a carefree life without any responsibilities.
In a recent interview, Garima talked about it and shared her excitement. Garima said, “I am thrilled and deeply honored to make my television debut with COLORS. I will be portraying the character of Bindiya, who shoulders the responsibility of managing her family single-handedly. She is admired for her kindness and positive demeanor. I find Bindiya very relatable, as I would do anything for my family, especially for my sister. I hope the audience continues to shower the show with love and embraces me in the role of Bindiya.”
Anshula Dhawan, who will portray Payal, shared her enthusiasm, stating, “I am thrilled to explore my craft through the role of a college-going girl who knows how to navigate any situation. I hope viewers eagerly anticipate the twists in the story and shower us with their love.”
Discussing his character, Raghav Thakur said, “I will be playing the role of Krishna, a young man who shies away from the responsibility of running his family business. He enjoys spending time with his friends and his love interest, Payal. However, a turn of events forces him to marry Payal’s sister, Bindiya, and this decision alters the lives of the three individuals.”
