Two constable outside are conversing
1st constable-Bhaiji, I have observed this young man for one year……….From the time he was sent to jail……….no one has come to meet him……………
2nd constable-Hmm…….even I have noticed that……….He always remains quite………neither talks to anyone himself nor answers to anyone’s question……….
Both constables are called by Senior Inspector ……..so they leave……
In Jail
………Mani shown with gray shawl around ………..beard all grown ……..in black and white outfits………..
Mani[to himself]-You were right Raman ………….
We shouldn’t have done Ishu’s operation…………I deserve to be here………
Mani closes his eyes and goes into flashback…………

All Family members try to convince Raman for Ishita’s operation………
Mr.Bhalla-I know raman puttar, there is risk of ishita’s life in the operation but it is important………..Ishita cant be in coma for lifetime……
Raman throws the consent form……….
Raman-I will not sign and that’s final………………..
Mani-[breaking his bond of patience]-Enough Raman,……..Where was this concern…….when you asked her to get out of your life 7 years back……….Ishu tried to commit suicide……….[now having an eye to eye contact with raman…..]After that incident you don’t have any right on her life………..[A lawyer comes just then….]

Lawyer-In these papers….Mr.Abhimanyu has taken the responsibility of Mrs.Ishita Bhalla’s operation to be done by Dr.Verma…… failing which he is ready to take any legal penalty………
Raman-‘failing which’ what do you mean……..The failure of operation can cost Ishita’s life….what will be the use of penalty……

Mani looked towards that direction……….A lady with in white saree with a back coat hanging in hand and holding some files in other hand……..came forward and her face is shown…………(this is none other than Pallavi …chadda lawyer’s wife…….hope u all remember her)
Pallavi-I am your new lawyer……….I have studied ur case……and I need to now what exactly happened after your operation??
Mani turns his head away……
The 2 constables come from behind……..
1st constable-We told you before ma’am…….He will not speak…..
