Ishita’s Room
Ishita[to Romi]-Talking to Alliya I felt good……..She is perfect for Adi………….But it seems she had a fight with Adi………
Romi(smiled)-Don’t worry Bhabhi……..I have appointed both of them as interns of my new company……Everything will be sorted when they will work together……….
Ishita-Hopefully……….(romi gets a call )
Romi-Bhabhi, Mihika’s call ……..I’ll take a leave……
Ishita-Yeah!!…(While leaving he collides with cupboard and Ishita’s old dairy falls down from the top of cupboard)
Ishita[picking up the dairy]-Oh……..My name is written ……..Its my diary!!!
[She opened the diary ………….][A loud sound of thunder was heard as if even Nature was indicating something……………..the grey coloured clouds spread in the sky and strong winds blew through the window and touched Ishita as if reminding her something………..Ishita started reading……..]
Screen shifts to COURT ROOM
With heavy waited hand cuffs around his hand, Mani walked with small steps towards the witness Box………
High above on wooden platform sat an old aged Judge who looked towards mani straight through his spectacles that rested at the tip of his nose………
A serious silence filled the court room………and Here began the CASE
Judge-The case records show that Mr.Abhimanyu was accused of illegal actions that lead to Mrs.Ishita’s memory loss………Ms.Pallavi has reopened the case……..Please begin the proceedings……..Prosecutor you may start…….
In the audience sat…..Alliya, Adi Raman and Mihir………
Raman[to mihir](surprised)-Pallavi???……she is Mani’s lawyer??
Mihir-Yes Raman……Alliya approached her………
Just then prosecutor got up
Prosecutor-Without wasting time I would like to call my First witness Dr.Verma…..
[Dr.verma comes to the witness box]………So Dr.Verma , the best Neurosurgeon……..all your operations are successful then what is the reason of partial failure of Mrs.Ishita’s operation……
Dr.Verma-My lord……As a doctor I take the stand of Mrs.Ishita’s condition……But I still remember that the injections I got had cover of low dose and So I used it………It was after using that when I realised that medicine was of high dose…………
Pallavi-Doctor………Can you please tell the court that from whom did you receive the injections ……..was it Mr.Abhimanyu himself
Dr.Verma-No….It was not him……..but an assitant who gave me…….
Pallavi-My Lord,……….my client Mr.Abhimanyu could never think bad about Ishita,………Then changing the injections is a big accuse and false allegation on him……..
Prosecutor-Ms.pallavi………..I should remind you………that this is court and here your argument won’t work …………….you need to give proof and evidence…………
Tensed face of pallavi…..then alliya is shown………..
Prosecutor-My Lord I would like to call my next witness………Mr.Gupta from whose shop injections were bought…………
Judge-You may…..[mr.gupta walks to the box]……..
Prosecutor-Mr.Gupta………Has this ever happened that from you store….. wrong injections are given……….
Mr.gupta[with immediate reflex]-NEVER………..even police did investigation last time…..and they found that my store and I m Innocent……….
Prosecutor-That’s all my Lord……….Chemist gave correct injections but doctor got the wrong ones…………This has to be Mr.Abhimanyu’s work…………
Judge-Defence counsel ….do you want to cross examine Mr.Gupta……
Pallavi[hesitating]-No may lord…[Mani dropped down his head as if losing the little hope that he had]…..But I would like to call…….Ms.Milli…….the receptionist of hospital
[ms.milli comes to witness box]
Pallavi-Ms.Milli please tell us about the nursing staff…..
Ms.Milli-My Lord………..In our hospital ………there are 20 nurse and 20 wardboys…….For that operation…..sister Saloni, sister rubi and wardboy Harish were present………..
Prosecutor-May Lord due to an emergency at hospital…..Sister saloni and sister Rubi are not present in the court but I would like to show the cctv footage of operation room that shows both of them were present during the whole operation with doctor…..only once sister saloni had gone out to ask someone to get injections……….and she came back with nothing in her hand……….[cctv footage is shown]
Pallavi-Excatly Mr.prosecutor……….Both of them where there during the operation……But It was the wardboy who got the injections inside……
Posecutor-Comeon……Ms.Pallavi………..Your client had blamed a nurse for taking the injections………..Don’t tell me that Mr.Abhimanyu could not distinguish between a nurse and a wardboy………
Pallavi-Point to be noted may lord……..Prosecutor agrees to This thing that Mr.Abhimanyu gave the injections to a nurse……….
Prosecutor-But those were the wrong injections………
Pallavi-Hang on ………I would like to show the some more cctv footage……….[cctv footages of other areas of hospital is shown]……If we count the total number of nurses in different areas of hospital………then they are 20 in number………….Then [showing the cctv footage of entrance where Mani is giving injections to the nurse wearing operation mask]….then from where did this nurse come here??……..If we count her then it will be 21…………..
[All seemed schocked!!!]…….(pallavi continued)…….
Pallavi-After taking the injections…….she went to second floor for operation by using the stairs…….when the lift was on ground floor………(Pointing the lift in cctv footage)………..This is becoz stairs don’t have cctv camera there…………….NOW I would like to call wardboy Harish…….
Prosecutor-Objection may lord…….Ms.Pallavi is trying to confuse the court……
Judge-Objection over ruled…….[Harish comes to witness box]
Harish(scared)- My Lord……..I din’t know that the injections were wrong……….I meet the nurse on first floor and she told me to take it for operation……So I did that………
Pallavi-That’s all My Lord ……..all evidences point that injections were exchanged by the lady dressed in nurse uniform………….My doubt is on Nidhi………who was also accused for the accident of Mrs.Ishita………..However she died in an accident few days before……………….BUT……..as far as my client Mr.Abhimanyu is concerned…………..He should be released with due honour…….as he is not the culprit………Thus……My Lord, I rest my case……………
Judge-Looking at all the evidences, court has come to conclusion that Mr.Abhimanyu is not guilty and we release him with due honour ………..We regret that he had to spend one year in jail…………Holding Nimrit chopra responsible for wrong injection……….and believing that God has done justice by her death, I hereby close the case……………
OUTSIDE COURT
Mani walks out with dashing look as before………..
Alliya comes and hugs Mani…..
Alliya(tears of Happiness)-Appa…….I missed you so much……….
Mani-hey alliya………Am I so bad appa that you are crying on seeing me………[alliya and mani laugh……]
Someone forwards his hand for handshake…………Its none other than Raman………..
Raman-I am Really sorry abhimanyu…………I held you guilty for something you din’t do………
Mani puts his hand in his pocket showing he does not want to shake hands…………Raman lowered his hand………
Mani(with little anger)-Raman,….. when I was sent to jail………..i had decided that I will never forgive you………..I am sorry raman, I cannot accept your apology………….After all I am a human and not God……………(after a little pause he continued)…..Sometimes life brings us to such a place where future is uncertain and past seems just blank………I have DECIDED I am shifting back to Australia and will just live in present…………
Alliya-But appa How can we leave amma here……….and I have not even done my packing………
Mani-Yes alliya you are right we cannot leave ur amma here………..So you will stay here only….. with Iyer family………..Only I am leaving………..
Alliya-But appa…..(mani interrupts)
Mani-Won’t you agree to your appa??? [alliya nods in okay]
Raman-You don’t need to leave Mani…….Your family is here……

Mani is sitting in the waiting area…………near a window……It was raining outside……
Announcement-Indigo fligt no.E653 flying from Delhi to Australia is delayed by 2 hours……….
Mani got up from his sit and went outside……He stretched his hand outside the shade to feel the drops of Rain…….He closed his eyes and tried hearing the soothing sound of rain………..
Then after a while, he opened his eyes and the sight he saw was something just unexpected……….
Ishita standing in her old look with black coloured saree rapped around…………..she was fully drenched in rain…………
Mani walked in rain and moved towards her…………
As both of them stood in rain , a loud thunderstroke was heard as if to break their silence………
Mani-Ishu….Goodbye…I am going to….(ishita interrupted)
Ishu-Keep quite Mani…(Now She held his collar in anger)…. .Today I will speak and you will listen…….. Whom did you ask before leaving?…..Or you don’t consider me important to tell me this?
Mani-Its not like that ishu….(ishita again stopped him)
Ishita-I told you to keep quite……….. I don’t know I am important to you or not,…But…..What I know is ……Mani,…….You are a very important person in my life………(now she leaves his collar….) ….. (then In polite tone)…….Now don’t you have to give any explanation…
Mani(smiled)-Ishu……you only told me to keep quite……….
Ishu smiles
Mani-Ishu……Just keep smiling like this……….I am happy to know you recalled everthing…….BUT please understand I have to leave……[Mani turns to leave but Ishita holds his hand]
Ishita-What happened Mani………You always understood my feelings……..Then why can’t you see pain in my eyes today…….You always solved my problems…..then why are you leaving and hurting me…….
Mani(wiping her tears)-No Ishu… I don’t want to hurt you ……I can even differentiate ur tears from these raindrops BUT……..
Ishita[keeping her fingers on his mouth]-Shoo……I don’t want to hear any but……Please agree……….
Mani nods in yes………
Ishita becomes happy……And hugs Mani…..…She closes her eyes……and background music plays….

Raman-Read it further, You will realise everything yourself……….As usual you would remember only your meet with Mani at airport……….But it has been 4 months from that time…………Everything that happened in these 4 months …..you have written in this diary……Read it urself………
