New cast revealed for Pandya Store: Ankur Nayyar and Abhishek Sharma join the Makwana family after time leap
Last week, there were reports about the addition of Rohit Chandel and Shabaaz Abdullah to play two of the four brothers in Pandya Store after the anticipated time leap. Now according to the latest reports, Ankur Nayyar, known for his role in Chikoo — Yeh Ishq Nachaye, and Abhishek Sharma will be cast as the eldest and third brothers, respectively. Veteran actress Ananya Khare has been confirmed to portray their mother.
According to a reliable source, Piyali Munsi will be seen opposite Ankur Nayyar in the show. The new cast, representing the Makwana family, is set to begin filming on July 20. Ankur’s character is expected to be the rock of the family, holding them together and playing a significant role in their financial stability.
Meanwhile, Shiny Doshi, the original protagonist of the show, shared her thoughts on the impending time leap in a recent interview and shared, “It has been a great journey, but if I were to continue on the show, I would have to age on screen, which I wasn’t keen on doing. I have no regrets or disappointment because I have done everything I could on the show, and not much was left for me to do. This one is very special to me as it gave me a lot of love and attention. Playing Dhara was challenging, and detaching from her will be difficult, but the journey has come to an end. All good things come to an end. I will miss the entire cast.”
