Nikki Sharma, who portrays the young and spirited Shakti from Varanasi, has left no stone unturned in making her character stand out.
To ensure authenticity in her portrayal, Nikki worked diligently to master the local Varanasi dialect. She embraced the dialect and practiced using it regularly, focusing on perfect pronunciations and incorporating Mantra uccharans to lend realism to her character.
Speaking about her preparation in a recent interview, Nikki shared, “Shakti’s character has been a blessing for me since I took it up. To give my 100% to this role, I have been learning the right dialect and pronunciations specific to the show. Each character offers actors an opportunity to learn and grow as professionals. While we converse in Hindi on the show, there are certain words and mantras that need to be accurately pronounced. The whole team has been supportive in guiding me through these nuances. I’m truly enjoying this learning process, and I hope to do justice to my character of Shakti through the dialect I have incorporated into my daily life.”
As Nikki pours her heart and soul into Shakti’s character, viewers can look forward to seeing how Shiv will protect her from street criminals when she sets out to seek medication for her Tauji in the upcoming episodes.
