Nikki Tamboli was a fireball when we saw her as a contestant in the Bigg Boss house. She was fierce and bold on the show which helped her gain a massive fan following.She was the second runner-up on the show. She was recently in Vadodara for an event and talked about her future plans with the team at Etimes. She says, “This was my first visit to Gujarat, and I received a lot of love from everyone, which made me feel at home. I interacted with university students and found them quite knowledgeable.”
Nikki, who hasn’t done a TV show in a long time (she had a small role in Sirf Tum in 2021) and has done films in Telugu and Tamil before that, has some bigger plans. She says that she is in no hurry to take up a project. She shares, “I am not doing any TV shows in the near future. I am also not keen to do any reality shows now. I have a few exciting projects lined up, but I don’t want to talk about it till the time they go on floors. I want to make my Bollywood debut soon.” She adds, “When you don’t belong to a filmi family, the journey is not easy. I have been getting a lot of offers for item songs and music videos. While I don’t regret letting go of most of them, some of those videos became huge hits. Sometimes, you lag behind because there is nobody to guide you properly.”
Aspiring for the stars is something which makes her different. She also talked about the constant trolling she has to face on social media. She said,”We are human beings too and we have emotions. Last year, there was a phase when I was trolled frequently. While I try to ignore trolls, sometimes it does affect you. However, everyone is getting trolled these days, including doctors and sportspersons!”
