Colors’ popular show ‘Nima Denzongpa’ has managed to strike a chord with the audience. Actress Surabhi Das who essays the female lead in the show recently talked about her character in the show.
In a conversation with India Forums Surabhi was asked about her thoughts on the leap in the show. She shared, “It’s not like the leap happened overnight. It was always a part of the story. I was informed well before and agreed to the same because I didn’t want to let go of the opportunity on featuring on a show like this and a channel like COLORS. Also, it was a great opportunity for me as an actress to showcase my talent as the show traces the three important phases of Nima and there was a lot of scope to performance. So, I’m pretty fine with the leap”.
Talking about feeling awkward for essaying the role of a mother to girls of the same age, she said, “Honestly, for the initial days, I did feel a little awkward but with time, I got used to it”.
Talking about the show, the upcoming episodes will witness, Tulika feeling insecure to see Nima and Suresh together.
