On the occasion of International Women’s Day and the world is celebrating women and their achievements. Actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia who is essaying the female lead in the popular show Choti Sarrdaarni recently talked about it in an interview with India Forums.
She shared, “‘I believe that it’s a blessing to be born as a woman. Every woman has superpowers. From holding the family together to walking step to step with men across all professional fronts, there is nothing a woman can’t do. Women are indeed superheroes with invisible capes.”
When asked about the most important woman in her life, she said, “It’s none other than my mother. She is the one who has always given me the courage to dream big and supported my vision. She has been my strength in both my good days and bad days. She is my inspiration. And she constantly makes me want to be a better version of myself, a better human being. I love her more than anything/ anyone else in the world.”
Sharing her plans for Women’s day, she added, “I specifically don’t have any plan for the day because I am shooting. But yes, I will give get together with my girlfriends to have a cozy dinner at home after the shoot.”
