Nitin Bhatia opens up about Dharampatnii’s extension and juggling two shows
In a recent interview, Nitin Bhatia, who is currently balancing his roles in Dharampatnii and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3, candidly discussed his characters, the challenges he faces, and the recent extension of Dharampatnii.
When asked about managing two shows with contrasting characters, Nitin explained, “It is certainly a challenge to juggle between two shows with completely different characters. Aditya in Dharampatnii is entirely positive and supports Ravi and Pratiksha throughout. The character remains on the positive side. On the other hand, Rishabh in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is portrayed in a negative shade. Rishabh can easily be influenced by others and go against Ram and Priya. The advantage of playing two different characters is that both sets are close by, so I don’t need to travel.”
Reflecting on his journey, Nitin shared, “I have been working on Dharampatnii for six months, and it has kept me occupied. When you’re doing a daily soap, there is no time for anything else. The journey has been beautiful. Yeh Hai Chahatein was my first show, and I’ve realized that each character in Balaji shows has its own story and spark. Viewers can easily distinguish each character. Aditya from Dharampatnii is quite similar to the one I played in Yeh Hai Chahatein, with the difference being that this one won’t turn negative.”
Nitin and his co-stars were relieved when they received news of the show’s extension. He expressed, “It is indeed a sigh of relief that Dharampatnii has been granted an extension. When we found out in May that the show was going off-air, we were shocked because the TRP was good. However, miraculously, we received the news that it would be extended for at least six more months. We are all truly happy about the show’s extension because the story is captivating.”
Nitin Bhatia’s dedication to his dual roles and the positive response to Dharampatnii’s extension reflect his commitment to his craft. With his hard work and talent, he continues to make a mark in the world of television.
