SHIVAAY’S P.O.V.
FLASHBACK 1:
Karan keeps his hand on Shivaay’s shoulder. Shivaay turns to see Karan.
Karan: Is everything ok Shivaay.
Shivaay: Ya everything is ok Karan Bhaiya.
Karan nods his head in disagreement.
Karan: Don’t lie to me Shivaay, tension is clearly visible on your forehead and as much as I know you, you are tensed about something really serious and I even know that you won’t tell the reason to anyone
Shivaay tries to interrupt but Karan cuts him.
Karan: It’s ok Shivaay I can understand. But in any case you ever need anyone’s help then remember your this brother is always there.
Shivaay nods and hugs him, Karan reciprocates the hug after while Shivaay feels relaxed and releases the hug.
FLASHBACK1 ENDS
Shivaay get’s teary remembering the person who could make him comfortable in all the situations.The only person who made him feel like a younger brother and whom he had relied on for his families security as well. The thing which was too big for him.
FLASHBACK 2:
Shivaay: Don’t you know Karan.
Karan gets shocked hearing his name from him as Shivaay always use to call him Bhaiya but he composes himself and nods in no.
Karan: What is the reason of your anger Shivaay.
Shivaay loosing his cool completely shouts at him.
Shivaay: YOU, YOU ARE THE REASON BEHIND MY ANGER MR. KARAN SINGHANIYA , OH SORRY I MEAN MR. KARAN.
Karan in calm tone: What happened Shivaay.
Shivaay in same way shouts: DON’T ACT AS IF YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING.
Dadi: What happened Billu why are you shouting at Karan what did he do.
Shivaay: Dadi he lied to all of us, he made a fool out of us.
Dadi: What are you saying billu, say it straight.
Shivaay: Ok Dadi, THIS MAN IS NOT A SINGHANIYA, HE WAS ADOPTED BY MR.& MRS. SINGHANIYA. AM I RIGHT KARAN.
Karan: Stop it Shivaay if this a joke then pls stop it right now.
Prinku: Bhaiya what are you saying.
She starts crying ? as soon as the words leave her mouth.
Anika: Pls Billu ji stop saying all this.
Om: What are you saying Shivaay.
Rudra: Bhaiya pls don’t say like this, Karan Bhaiya is so nice, how can you say like this about him.
Shivaay: Don’t you guys dear interfere and this man was about to spoil my sisters life.
Karan: Stop it Shivaay. I am not saying anything, that doesn’t mean that you will say what ever you wish to.
Shivaay: Oh really stop acting like an innocent, Karan, you didn’t even think once that my sister is going to marry you and you should tell her your truth at least. MAY BE YOU DIDN’T SAY BUT AT LEAST MR. & MRS. SINGHANIYA YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD US.
He turns towards Abhi and Pragya. Pragya’s eyes ? are filled with tears and they are flowing continuously and she is holding Abhi’s hand tightly. Abhi isn’t able to understand what is happening.
Ishu goes near them and shakes them.
Ishu: Ma papa pls say something, tell Bhaiya that Bhaiyu is our brother, tell him na that he shouldn’t accuse bhaiyu, scold him na papa.
Anika: Papa how can you stay silent like this scold him for speaking rubbish.
Soums: Papa say something pls we know that you can’t hear anything against Bhaiyu then why are you silent today.
Karan was looking at Abhigya all the while with painful look.
Shivaay: WELL THEY CAN’T DENY THE FACT THAT KARAN IS AN ORPHAN. NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT HIS FAMILY BACKGROUND, NO ONE KNOWS THAT WHOSE BLOOD FLOWS IN HIS VEINS. THERE IS NO PROOF OF HIS BLOOD LINE, LINEAGE. AUKAAT KYA HAI ISS KI, PATA NAHI KIS KI GHATIYA AULAAD……….
FLASHBACK 2 ENDS.
He remembers Anika slapping him for his foolishness and today he felt that how right she was in doing that act. He deserved that as he insulted the most genuine person, who didn’t even question him ever for his act but even after all that what he just did was to care for him as his younger brother. He recalls the way he called Karan by his name in a raised tone and the time when Karan got shot while protecting him.
Among all these thoughts one thing more was going on in his head which wasn’t about Karan but about Aradhya, he decided to ignore it but somewhere or other that thought keep nudging him time and again.
He got distracted when OmRu entered the room, Shivaay composed himself and wiped the few tear drops that were about to leave his eyes. Rudra went to Shivaay and hugged him tightly.
Rudra: Bhaiya.
And he just cried.
Shivaay cared his back and said
Shivaay: Don’t worry Rudra, Karan Bhaiya will be alright soon.
Rudra still kept hugging him and Om kept his head on Shivaay’s shoulder and Shivaay looked at him. Om understood that he was feeling guilty and he just hugged him.
Later the three boys slept together on the bed, with Rudra almost above Shivaay. His one hand was on Shivaay’s stomach, while his leg rested on Shivaay’s both the legs. Rudra had hugged him tightly in sleep. Om’s one hand rested on Rudra and he was also fast asleep. While Shivaay was wide awake. He was totally drenched in guilt.
He just wanted to see Karan once safe and sound.
@2:09 a.m. MID NIGHT

A phone rings and the owner looks at it and within a second he picks up the call.
P.O.C.: Abeer, Karan has gained conscious, tell everyone but there is no need to come here now as doctors have given him sleeping pill and he is resting right now ask them to come in morning.
Abeer excitedly and with tears finally making their way through his eyes says: Ji baba. You take care.
Abhi: Okay. Bye.
Abeer: Bye.
He throws his phone and rushes towards Jhanvi’s room shouting.
Abeer: MA…..MA…..MA…..
ShivOmRu, AniIshSoums, Shakti, Pinky, Prinku and Dadi gather near Jhanvi’s room.
Pragya also gets up hearing him.
Abeer hugs Pragya tightly, while crying and says: Ma Karan gained conscious.
Pragya gave a wide smile and the rest also. Pragya hugged him back.
AniIshSoums also hugged each other and Prinku. ShivOmRu also hug each other.
Pragya: Abeer let’s go to Karan.
Abeer: No ma.
Pragya: Why?
Abeer: Relax ma, baba said that he is sleeping and we will only be allowed to meet him in morning during visiting hours.
Pragya: But.
Abeer: Don’t worry ma. That idiot is alright now.
Pragya nods.
Abeer: Ma you take rest we will go tomorrow morning.
Pragya nods.
Abeer makes her lay down and covers her with a comforter.
All come out accept Jhanvi she stays back with Pragya.
@OUTSIDE THE ROOM
Anika: Bhai you are mad.
Abeer: Now what did I do?
Anika: When bhaiyu was in critical situation you were giving us hope and now you are crying when everything is fine.
She says wiping his tears off.
Abeer: Aare it’s nothing like that and all of you go and sleep. It’s too late we even need to go to hospital tomorrow.

Karan is sleeping on his bed.
Pragya cares his forehead gently and he sensing her presence wakes up.
Karan: Ma.
Pragya smiles and kisses his forehead gently, Karan smiles at her.
Pragya: Kaisa ho. (How are you feeling now?)
Karan: Aacha hun. (I am feeling better.)
AniIshSoums come in along with Abeer and ShivOmRu & dadi . Karan tries getting up Pragya and Abeer help him. Abeer acts being angry with him.
AniIshSoums run and hug him tightly.
Karan: Oh girls leave me, let me breath at least.
They leave him.
Karan looks at Abeer and says
Karan: Abeer.
He glares at him, while Karan makes an innocent face. Abeer hugs him.
Abeer: You idiot you scared the hell out of us. Do you even know your little princess didn’t even cry once.
Karan looks at Ishu as he knew it would be her only and she bends her head down.
Karan: Ishu.
Ishu: Bhaiyu please.
She hugs and finally breaks down.
Karan: Relax princess I am okay.
Ishu still crying: Bhaiyu this is not fare.
Karan: Aacha baba sorry.
Ishu: No.
Abhi enters and looks at all of them.
Abhi: Lo I thought only your mother is an all time water tank but it seems she has passed her problem to you as well.
Anika: Please papa don’t say anything to ma. Even you were crying.
Soums: Yes pops , she is right even I witnessed it.
Abhi: Chor da gawaaah dadu. (One liar is agreeing with the other one.)
Pragya: Don’t you dear say anything to my daughters.

All chuckle.
Abhi: Okay now at least stop crying.

Anika was about to say but Abeer covers her mouth and whispers in her ears.

Anika signs towards his hand and he removes that.

All look around and nod.
Dadi goes to Karan and keeping her hand on his head says

Karan’s words made Shivaay more guilty and he couldn’t take it any more and moved towards Karan and said
Shivaay: I am sorry bhaiy…..
Before he could compete somebody held his collar and pushed him away from Karan and that was Abeer who was hell angry.
Abeer: Don’t you dear Mr..
Abeer would have certainly knocked Shivaay off his wits if Abhi wouldn’t have stopped him on time.
Abhi: What nonsense is this Abeer.
Abeer: Please baba leave me. I won’t leave this bastard for hurting Karan. First he hurts him and then apologises as if nothing ever happened, look such an innocent he is. I won’t let him hurt Karan again.
Abhi: Calm down Abeer.
Abeer: Baba.
Abhi stops him showing his hand. Abeer pulls away and leaves the ward.
Anika: What wrong did bhai do.
Abhi: Both his action and his aggression are wrong, moreover this isn’t a place to show grudges.
Anika glares at Shivaay and says
Anika: Few people deserve such treat me only.
Abhi: Anika, it would be better if you do the work for which you have come here or better leave.
Anika: Fine.
Anika was about leaves but Ishu holds her hand and stops her showing Karan.
Ishu: Don’t worry that Bandar will be back soon.
Soums: Okay fine leave all that and calm yourself down. Papa is also angry with you.
Anika: Fine.
Karan: Papa I want to talk to Shivaay alone. Please.
Abhi nods and asks all to leave.
Anika: But what’s the need.
Abhi: Anika.

She stamps her feet and bangs the door hard and leaves.

Jhanvi is standing near the balcony, when Tej enters and sees her. Tej goes to her and stands beside her.
Jhanvi turns and looks at him questioningly.
Tej: I am sorry Jhanvi.
Jhanvi: For what Tej.
He took her hand in his and said gently.
Tej: Jhanvi for betraying you, for breaching your trust, for leaving you all alone when you needed me, for making our son’s life miserable, for taking away your rights, for killing your dreams and for destroying your life. I am sorry. I know one sorry can’t solve everything but if possible try to forgive me.
Saying so he begins to leave when Jhanvi holds his arm and stops him, he turns to face her while she is seeing outside with tears brimming down her eyes.
Jhanvi: Why did you do this Tej?
Tej in a chocked voice: I don’t know Jhanvi but I just didn’t know when did I go on another path leaving you. Maybe just knew that you will always be there what ever may happen. I was too over confident about you and trust me I was right but I went wrong. I can never change what happened but I will try mending our future.
Jhanvi finally looked at him with tears in her eyes, while he bowed his head down.
Jhanvi: I am still there where you left me Tej, hopefully this time you won’t change your path.
Tej nods and leaves, while Jhanvi again gets back to her work of viewing the garden but this time with innumerable thoughts in her mind and a smile playing on her face.

@INSIDE THE WARD
Karan: Say what you want to say Shivaay.
Shivaay: I am sorry Bhaiya.
Karan: It’s completely okay, I can understand you were concerned being a brother and it is absolutely normal.
Shivaay: No I insulted you, badmouthed about you. You should scold me, punish me, hit me.
Shivaay says with a layer of tears.
Karan: Shivaay nothing would help. I am happy that you realised and more than that you are apologising on your own. Now just forget whatever happened. And don’t give these cry baby sought of looks otherwise if Rudy saw you like this na then he would accuse you of taking his place and rather kill me for making his superman cry.
Shivaay wipes off his tears and says: Sorry.
Karan gives an irritated look and says: Dare you say that again I won’t ever forgive you.
Shivaay smiles and hugs him.
Karan: Okay Shivaay, forget whatever happened now.
Shivaay parts away and smiles.
Shivaay: You take rest now. I will send uncle and aunty in.
Karan nods and Shivaay leaves.
