CHAPTER 13
The question that gauri put up…made Om go dumb….as some past incidents again hit his head…. The car, prinku…and the girl… Then ranveer…his claim that she was his sister…..then his forgiveness….and the chain continues….
“You might haven’t….” Gauri exclaimed breaking the chain of his thoughts….as she found him thinking something really deep…. She took it as he was trying to remember any such incident…..but fails to get so.
“Coz if you would have lied even once….then you would have understood the situation that I was facing.” She completed.
Om starred her completely blank.
“Ok tell me one thing….if this truth wouldn’t have came out today….i mean few days back…then what….would you have been lied to me till nine months…??” Omkara questioned.
“No…coz nothing as such might have happened.” Gauri stated.
“This much confidence your own self…?!!” Om says in a surprised tone.
“No, its TRUST that I have on my lord.” Gauri countered.
Om smiled a bit.
“That’s the problem… Your TRUST is so deep that it would never break in even worse situation….but my PAIN is so deep that it never ever let me TRUST anyone.” Om says in disappointment.
“Its not like that omkaraji… Situation can break us…but its our strength that helps us in getting up and facing it. Anyways I guess now I should leave.” Gauri explained and then stated with the hopeless note.
“Stay back.” Om said.
She turns to him.
“Plz stay back… Just to teach me that how to get up when the life adds flavour of pain.” Om requested.
Gauri kept on starring him. She had a lot to say…but she didn’t find it the right time to say so.
“I know I have said a lot more about your character that too without paying any heed to your words…. But plz…help me as a friend.” Om continues.
He was bowing down…as he find it difficult to say all this by directly having an eye contact with her. While she kept on standing…trying to solve the ridiculous puzzles that life had offered both of them.
“But this time not as chulbul. Coz I want to know the actual Gauri… Just Gauri… Who had taken over my mind for last few days.” Om added.
“Then the very first thing is CONFIDENCE that too on your own. If you have that confidence in you…then plz say everything having a direct eye contact.” Gauri answered.
His head immediately swing up…and he starred her with a lot of thankfulness….as he wasn’t expecting this as her reply. Gauri understood his gesture. Both smiled at each other.
“Fine, ok lets decide something.” Om said.
“What..??” Asked Gauri.
“Everyday u will tell one thing about me, to me…and I will tell one thing about u, to u. In this way we will get to know about each other. I know you know me better than me. But still I have to understand you.” Om said in happiness.
“Done. But this time you will LISTEN to me.” Gauri replied.
“For sure.” Om agreed.

CHAPTER 14
NEXT MORNING
Tej was talking about an important client from JAIPUR to Shakti. This is when ShivOmRu come there.
Tej- Shivaay Mr. Alabhya Sindhiya is arriving in two days…and you have to make sure that the deal is in our favour.
Shiv- (thinking) Alabhya….?? Is he the same client… I mean the Jaipur one.
Tej- Yes.
Shakti- And if we got a merger with Sindhiyas’ then this will be a turning point for the whole oberoi empire.
Shiv- Yes papa… I know that… And don’t worry bade papa I will make sure that the deal happens.
Om- That’s great shivaay…ALL THE BEST.
Rudra- Yes bhaiya… Waise toh I know that this deal will be ours… Coz you are handling it…. But still I can wait for the day till the papers are signed… And once the papers are signed….. You will have to give me whatever I want…. Promise…
Shiv- Do I need to made any PROMISES to my brothers… Even if the deal slipped I will give you whatever you want.
Om- That’s like our Shivaay.
And the three hugged each other.
There Ragini calls pinky to gain sympathy by exploiting some imaginary stories into her mind…. To which pinky develops a soft corner for her..
Pinky decided to make Ragini her daughter in law. Which was sensed by Ragini…and she found pinky to be her trump card.

Om was in his room… He was searching something… This is when Gauri came there and seeing the condition of Om’s room she enquired Om about what he is searching.
Om-(still searching) actually last week only I received a classic collection of my new paints…. But those are missing… Did you saw them somewhere.
Gauri- The same in red box with white marble palate attached to it….??
Om- Yes exactly… Where are they…?? (he asked in excitement)
Gauri- (in a bit slow tone) woh actually I thought that you are not using them….and moreover there were too many colours in your room. So I…
Om- (seething) So you…so you what Gauri…??
Gauri- (in a hardly audible tone) So I kept them in the store room.
As soon as she completed the sentence Om’s eyes expanded while gauri’s shrinked as she closed them tightly.
Om was about to shout but controlling himself and marking his behaviour.
Om- (trying to control himself) Who told you to do such a great work…?? Next time plz do ask me once before using or even touching my colours.
Gauri was still closing her eyes as she expected that he will shout at her….but since nothing as such happened so she opened her eyes slowly….only to find omkara starring at her with a lost look.
Gauri- Omkaraji don’t worry from next time I will ask you first.
This diverted Om’s attention.
Om- Its ok. I will be back with the colours soon.
And Om left to store room in hunt of those colours.
