NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS , I WON’T LEAVE YOU !!!
In this beautiful budding vernal equinox , I ‘m here getting ready to bid goodbye to India as London is welcoming me !!! Yeah I ‘m going to London to get my better half !!! Oh don’t get shocked , I ‘m still single !!!! I ‘m going to bring my girlfriend back here !!!
I used to be with my grandpa as both my mom and dad are dead . He used to pamper me a lot !!!! Even I wanted him to be happy !!!! We weren’t that rich so many used to bully us and insult us . So I took a vow that I would study well and score good marks and I did that !!! I topped the state and got free scholarship in US !!!! I studied there well and started my business there !!!! And now yeah , the great lakshya Maheshwari is the youngest entrepreneur in India !!! All these things were going on when I heard my mobile ringtone ,
“Yeah this is laksh speaking !!!”
“Yes laksh this is sanskar !!!! Reached airport ???”
“Yeah I ‘m here , it’s time for boarding dude !!! Once I reach London I ‘ll contact you !!!”
The air hostess requested him to switch off his mobile !!!! He replied affirmatively and while switching off he saw his lady love’s pic which is his wallpaper !!!
“I ‘ll come to you sweetheart !!! At any cost !!! This is laksh ‘s promise to you my love !!!” He uttered determinedly .
He closed his eyes to sleep and slowly drifted off in his lady love’s thought , their first meet and their blossoming love etc etc etc ……. Which happened 10 months back …….
Evening by 6 pm , a beautiful textile showroom is shown beautifully adorned with velvety clothes and it’s view was marvellous !!!!
A girl came rushing towards the shop in a hurry and dashed with a girl .
“Hey can’t you see and come ??? You useless girl !!! Don’t know to do a work properly !!!” She sighed
“Sorry Nikita ma’am it’s my mistake , next time I ‘ll surely rectify it !!!” She sounded worried
“You aren’t even at correct time Shruthi !!! I don’t know how come papa appointed you as a saleswoman here !!! Huff !!!”
“I ‘m really sorry ma’am !!! Please don’t fire me !!!”
“Nikita don’t bully her and Shruthi continue your work !!!”
Shruthi thanked him and left to do her job !!!
Everyday this was their routine !!! Nikita used to insult and bully her but Shruthi is used too it !!!! She at times get teary eyes but then she composes herself and return to her work .
One day a young handsome lad in his early 20’s visited their shop !!! He came along with his grandfather !!! Suddenly his grandfather started feeling dizzy !!!! But he left it !!!! In a nick of time Shruthi holded him and made him sit down and started blabbering to him . That young guy was worried and he couldn’t register what happened there !!!
“What happened beta ??? Why are you tensed ???”
“Now you are fine grandpa !!! I can call you that nah ???”
“Yeah sure beta !!!”
“Grandpa you are missing something !!! I think u have postural hypertension !!!”
“What are you blabbering now too miss ???”
“No I ‘m cent present sure because now he is back to normal !!! Take him to XYZ hospital , there is number 1 cardiologist there !!!”
“Sir leave that lunatic female ‘s talk sir I have bought a yellow tie for your conference !!!”
“Sir that’s ridiculous to wear a yellow tie for conference !!! Actually black tie ‘ll suit you a
lot !!”
“Actually both Nikita and you miss whatever I ‘m not that old that u should call me sir !!! You beautiful girls can call me as laksh or lucky !!!”
“Miss. Shruthi not whatever !!!!”
“Okay beautiful !!”
“It’s okay flirt !!!”
“Huh ???”
“Nothing !!!”
At that time a man came running to their shop,
“Ragini ma’am see you need to come to the hospital !!! There is an emergency cardiac surgery !!!! You need to do it !!! It’s do or die situation !!! No one willing to try !!! Please ma’am !!!”
Nikita , laksh and his grandfather ‘s mouth were wide open !!!! Ragini a doctor then Shruthi ???? What’s happening !!! They couldn’t digest the fact !!!
“What’s going on Shruthi ???”
“Prasanth you go , I ‘ll come after explaining to them !!!”
“Ma’am that’s life threatening complication , you go I ‘ll narrate them the whole story !!! Anyways all the best ragini !!”
“Thank u so much prasanth bhaiya !!”
Prasanth started narrating ,
You know what her name is ragini Gadodia not Shruthi , ragini is not like u see her !!! She is an hardworking female , who lost her father at every young age . She worked hard and finished her medicine course and became successful cardiologist too !!!
“But why is she ….. Nikita started which was cut by prasanth ,
Listen ma’am , once there was one patient named Shruthi , she is a young female who became pregnant as she was betrayed by her boyfriend . He just used her as a toy and then threw her when his desire was satisfied . Her parents also didn’t support her when she needed them at most !!!! She decided to kill herself . At that time ragini who went at that side , saved her from suicidal attempt !!!! Shruthi decided to earn by working . When she approached this shop , the owner told her to join that day itself . Shruthi didn’t want to lose the opportunity !!!! She asked ragini !!!
“But Shruthi you are at 31 St week of pregnancy . You shouldn’t do work !!! You should take rest !!!”
“But ragini ….. This is a golden opportunity !!!! I don’t want to miss it !!!”
“I got an idea …. In evenings I ‘ll go and work as Shruthi till your delivery !!!! After that u continue …”
Shruthi hugged Ragini and mouthed a Thank you !!!! She couldn’t speak because of the lump that formed in her throat !!! Words didn’t come up !!!
“I ‘m grateful to you in the entire lifetime ragini !!!”
“That’s Okay Shruthi !!! I ‘m really glad to have a great sister like you !!!”
Both became emotional and hugged the other .
“So it’s ragini not Shruthi !!!! Thought laksh ”
After 2 weeks laksh visited ragini in her hospital .
“Hey ragini , you aren’t working in that textile shop ??”
“Yes I do , that’s in the evening !!!!”
“You know what you have a good knowledge about fashion technology !!!”
“Haha I wished to become a fashion designer when I was young but life had different plans for me I guess !!!”
“You know what you were right , my grandfather had postural hypertension !!!”
“I ‘m right !!!”
“Yes you are ragini !!! So friends ???”
“Sure lucky !!”
He smiled a bit …. “Ragini who is that cardiologist named Sanskar ???? Is he your friend ??? Because when I asked him about you he was laughing !!! Were you both dating ???”
“Haha ….. Nope !!! Just friends I mean we are best friends !!! ”
“Okay ragini next week prasanth is organising a party , u ‘ll come nah ???”
“Yeah I ‘ll laksh !!! ”
“See you soon ragini !!!”
Next week in the party prasanth ‘s son hugged Ragini and sanskar and introduced them as his mom and dad to laksh !!!
Laksh was depressed .. …. It was like his world crashed into millions of peices !!!! He couldn’t figure out the reason !!! He was in anger mode as ragini hid a big thing from him !!! Someone tapped laksh ‘s shoulder … It was prasanth !!!
“What happened sir ???”
“That boy told ragini and sanskar as his parents !!!”
“That’s the thing…. He is my son …. A year back He was suffering from mitral valve prolapse , only ragini and sanskar operated him !!!! From that he calls them both as mom and dad !!! I ‘m grateful to ragini and sanskar !!! They both are like God for our family !!!”
Laksh saw ragini laughing and pulling sanskar ,
his POV ,
“You are such a sweet girl ragini !!!! I ‘m really blessed to have you in my life !!!! Yeah ragini you know what , I fell in love with you !!! But how do I propose you??? Lakshya proposing a girl ??? Impossible !!! I ‘ll make sure that I ‘ll wait till you propose !!!
Ragini felt dizzy !!! In the nick of time laksh held her !!! Sanskar examined her and asked her to consult her dad !!! Laksh was worried !!!! But sanskar consoled him.
Days passed by and gradually laksh started falling for ragini in each and every aspect , he was in head over heels in love with her . He decided to propose her after a month . He decorated the beach beautifully with candles !!! The view was magnificent !!!
He dialed ragini ‘s number and asked her to come there !!! Ragini dressed in a blue shirt and white floral design skirt !!! Wind gently blew in that direction !!! Her hair was falling on her face . He envied the hair as it touched her face !!!! He was mesmerised to see her !!! She was awe struck to see the decorations !!!
Laksh took a diamond ring and knelt down in front of her and spoke up ,
“I love you so much. I just want to be with you. We will laugh together, we will smile together, we will cry together, we will share our sadness and happiness. There is no place beautiful for me in this world, but when you are with me, every place and everything looks beautiful. I just want to be with you always.
Ragini ‘s eyes welled up and she was about to cry !!! She composed herself and replied him ,
” Laksh I never thought you like that !!! You are a good friend of mine now and forever !!!! Please forget me and love someone else . Actually I was there to tell you , day after tomorrow I ‘m going to London for my higher studies !!! We won’t be able to be together laksh !!! That too forever !!! Bye !!! Don’t search for me !!!” Saying this she ran from that place .
Laksh ‘s heart was crushed !!!Crushed badly !!!After that incident his life changed . He believed that true love is letting your love to lead a happy life !!! So he left ragini !!! But he was drinking !!! That too day and night !!!!
His condition worsened without eating anything !!! He was admitted in the hospital !!! Sanskar was also there in that hospital !!! He happened to see laksh there !!! He rushed to him !!!
“What happened laksh ???”
“Nothing Sanskar , ragini left me !!!…”
“Will she be happy to see you like that ??”
“She would be happy now …..”
“Who told you ??? ” Sanskar questioned him being irritated
” You know what ??? I proposed her three weeks back , she rejected me !!”
“You know the reason ???”
Laksh nodded his head negatively .
“That’s because she didn’t want you to suffer !!! You know know that day she fell down being dizzy and tired !!! That’s because she was suffering from br*ast carcinoma !!! Since it was diagnosed earlier she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment in London !!!”
Laksh was shocked to the core !!! He couldn’t think that his lady love is suffering !!! Sanskar supported him and gave details about the hospital in London !!”
The flight landed and laksh came out of his thoughts !!!! He contacted Sanskar and informed him and reached that place . He collected the details and reached the room where ragini is there !!!
He was shocked to see her !!! Admist many machines she was lying down fragile and she was pale and her hand was Balt !!! It was such a heart wrenching situation to see her like that !!!
Laksh ‘s POV ,
She was on cloud nine on seeing me . She called me through actions and hugged me , after the hug she asked me why I came here !!!
I replied , “I WISH I COULD IGNORE YOU…. LIKE U IGNORE ME BUT I JUST CAN’T DO THAT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU !!!!”
“I too love you laksh but …..”
“I could get you , appearance can be changed always but not the character !!! I love your innocence and your nature not your appearance because appearance are always deceptive !!!”
Ragini hugged him tightly and uttered , “I LOVE YOU LAKSH !!!”
“I LOVE YOU TOO !!! NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS , I WON’T LEAVE YOU !!!!”Replied he reciprocating the hug !!!!
