It’s hard, very very hard for our telly stars to bring to us the stories which keep us hooked on to our television screens. The rigorous shoot schedules, drapes, make up, retakes, all takes a toll on them. While we see the rosy side of the story, the struggle is all theirs to make. Recently launched mythological show ‘Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi – Kahani Mata Rani Ki’ on Star Bharat’s story is similar too.
The story is fetched from our puranas and is captivating too but to bring to life the characters of goddesses on screen is not as easy as it seems. Actress Ishita Ganguly who essays the role of maa Kaali stays in make up for over six hours everyday to get into the get up.
And along with her dramatic avatar, her stellar performance then adds tonnes of charm to her performance. In a recent interaction with a leading tabloid, Ishita said that s lot of goes to get ready for the character but when she is in the character she feels energized and pumped up. She is really enjoying the character and hopes the audience will shower love for the show and the character.
Why not, right? The story telling is spectacular and the acting too is captivating too. Then why not will the audience shower love on the show!!
