Stay away from me
All were taken aback with Sai’s decision while Sai gets up to go towards her room. Bhavani stops her asking, “Sai what is wrong with you? What made you take such a drastic decision to stay away from us and your children?” Sai remembers her previous night with Virat. She clenches her fists, closes her eyes and turns around to answer, “Mrs. Bhavani Chavan, I had come here with only one goal in my mind which was to win over my son.” She then looks at a weeping Vinayak and says, “Now that my son has accepted me and started calling me his Aai. I don’t think there’s any more need for me to stay here.” She turns around to leave when Bhavani stops her again asking, “But how will your kids stay without you?” Sai with tears rolling down her cheeks answers without turning back, “They have their Baba and their whole family here with them and they can come and stay with me whenever they miss their Aai!!” And she swiftly goes to her room. Vinayak and Savi run behind her shouting Aai.
After Sai leaves. Bhavani questions the family members, “Did any of you say anything to Sai yesterday that she arrived at this decision?” The family members shake their heads, Pakhi craftily, “Kaku, no matter whatever others say Sai only does what she wills.” Bhavani angrily glowers at her.
In Sai and Savi’s room
Sai is hastily packing her things when the kids come there and try to stop her from behind, Sai doesn’t listen to them and continues to pack her things. Savi, “Aai, aai why are you leaving? Please stay here with us.” Sai, “No baada I can’t stay here.” Vinayak, “Aai is it because of the prank we played on you and Baba yesterday?” Sai stops for a moment reminiscing her passionate moments with Virat. She closes her eyes, clenches her fists and tells him, “No it has nothing to do with that.” Savi, “Then what happened Aai, did Baba fight with you?” Sai turns around hearing that question and tells her children, “Vinu, Savi you both need to understand that there is no relation between your Aai and Baba now. You both should stop trying to bring us together.” Vinayak and Savi together, “So Aai you and Baba will never give us a brother and a sister?” Sai was stunned at that question. She catches their hands and tells them, “No it is not possible.” Vinayak and Savi grimaced with pain. Sai tries to ignore them and continued to pack her belongings. After packing up everything, she gets up to leave when Vinayak and Savi catch her saree-pallu from behind and say, “Aai please don’t leave us. Please stay with us”. Sai felt weak with their pleas but then remembered her passionate moment with Virat followed by Pakhi and Ashwini’s words flashing through her mind. She tries to strengthen herself and makes up her mind. She wipes her tears, catches her saree-pallu without turning towards her children, frees it from their clutches and walks out of the room. Vinayak and Savi run behind her calling out Aai.
Guest room
Virat comes outside all dressed up and calls out the old man. The old man comes there. Virat asks him, “Kaka where did Sai go?” The old man, “Sai who? Oh your wife? I don’t know Sir. Didn’t she inform you anything?” Virat sadly pondered. “Sai must be disturbed after whatever happened between us yesterday night. I must talk to her.” The old man seeing Virat lost in thoughts asks him, “What happened Sir? Didn’t everything go well between you and Madam last night?” Virat tells, “The thing is that she is my kids’ mother but not my wife rather my ex-wife.” The old man was shocked, “What do you mean Sir?” Virat, “Kaka things and situation are a lot complicated in our lives which I can’t explain to you now. I need to go.” Before Virat leaves the old man apologizes to him, “I’m sorry Sir, I shouldn’t have teamed up with the kids and played nasty with your and Madam.” Virat tells him, “It’s not your fault Kaka. The fault is in our destiny which has bound me and Sai together through our kids and separated us through circumstances.” He then pays the old man whatever had cost and leaves.
Chavan Nivas
All are waiting anxiously for Sai in the living room. Sai comes there with her luggage followed by the children wailing behind her. Sai tells everyone, “All of you were very hospitable towards me and were very generous to keep me in your house. Now it is time for me to leave.” She walks past them and is about to leave when Bhavani calls her out, “Do you remember Sai that you had taken the same decision seven years ago for which you and your entire family are facing the consequences even now? Do you want to repeat the same?” Sai remembers leaving the Chavan Nivas seven years ago and how it led to hers and Virat’s separation. She thinks, “Maybe Virat and me were never meant to be together which is why I had to leave the house that day and even today.” Sai continues to pay no heed to Bhavani’s words or to the wails of her children and steps out of the Chavan Nivas. The lights of the Chavan Nivas go out. Bhavani sadly says, “This is an indication of lakshmi going out from our house.” Pakhi angrily, “Your lakshmi was an alakshmi in my married life.” Bhavani pays no attention to Pakhi and painfully looks at a leaving Sai thinking, “Now how will I ever unite Virat with Sai and his entire family?”
A few minutes after Sai left, Virat comes there. He was shocked to see the family members sitting disappointedly in the living room and the kids crying their eyes out. He wonders if Sai had told them everything. Sonali on noticing Virat, “Virat where have you been? Do you know what happened here?” Virat asks, “What happened kaku?” Pakhi cuts in saying, “I will tell him what happened.” A chill ran down Virat’s spine as Pakhi approached him to speak. He did not know how to face Pakhi after whatever happened between him and Sai the previous night. Pakhi comes near him, stands face to face with him and says, “Your dear ex-wife Dr. Sai Joshi has left Chavan Nivas.” Virat was taken aback to hear that. Pakhi continues, “And this time, she did not even listen to your kids’ pleas.” Virat sorrowfully looked at his children. He did not waste any time, turns around and runs outside. Pakhi follows him. Outside, Pakhi asks Virat, “Where are you going Virat? To bring back Sai? Do you think she will come back? And why are you trying to bring her back?” Virat, “I am trying to bring her back because she is my kids’ mother and my kids needs her and I will do whatever it takes to bring her back to Chavan Nivas.” On saying that, he sits into his car and drives off while Pakhi angrily glared at him from behind.
Sai’s House
Usha was shocked to see Sai return all alone without her children. She asked Sai repeatedly what was the matter however Sai doesn’t respond. Finally, Usha gives in and asks Sai to freshen up while she goes outside to get her something to eat. Sai nods. After Usha leaves, Virat comes there. Sai realizing Virat’s arrival locks herself in a room. Virat comes inside and looks everywhere for Sai when his eyes fall on a locked room. He bangs on it saying, “Sai, I know you are in there. Please come out. I need to talk to you.” Sai, “Go away Virat, I don’t want to talk to you.” Virat, “Sai please don’t say that. I will do whatever you ask me to if you open the door just once.” Sai opens the door and asks, “Will you do whatever I ask you to?” Virat relieved on seeing Sai nods willingly. Sai looks sternly into his eyes and tells him, “Then STAY AWAY FROM ME!!” Virat was shocked to hear that and when he lets out his hand to say something, Sai shuts the door on his face, hurting his hand. “Kaisa yeh rishta hai…Humko na samje…uditi hai patang jaise manjhe hai ulje……….ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein…..” plays in the background. Both Virat and Sai sit on either side of the door and cry bitterly.
