Paras Kalnawat on Kundali Bhagya undergoing a 20-year leap; says, “It will contribute to the freshness in the show”
Paras Kalnawat, who rose to fame with his stint in Anupamaa will now play the new lead in Kundali Bhagya. The show has taken a 20-year leap and Paras will play Shraddha Arya’s grown-up son.
The actor talked about it in a recent interview and shared that he is looking forward to his new role. He said, “After Jhalak and Anupamaa, I did get offered a few roles, but I did not want to do them. I wanted to do something different. Though Kundali is a six-year-old show, and it is always a challenge to enter an existing show, I am sure that this 20-year leap will contribute to the freshness of the show. Of course, there is a lot of pressure to perform not just on me, but on the entire team. I am looking forward to playing this character. I am glad that I am working on Ekta Kapoor’s show.”
Paras added, “I am playing a joyful character, who loves making people happy. I love my mother a lot, and audiences will be able to relate to my character. My character loves to spread happiness around and help people when they are faced with a troublesome situation.”
When asked what he was doing in the last few months, Paras replied, “I worked on myself, spent time with friends and family, and acted in a few music videos.”
Paras played the role of Samar in Anupamaa but was later replaced by Sagar Parekh.
