Scene 1
Jaswant gets shot and is dying. Gurpreet and Pari rush to him. Jaswant says I am sorry Pari, I couldn’t take you to Rajeev, I couldn’t be a good father. Pari cries and says don’t say that. They try to save him but Jaswant dies on spot. Gurpreet and Pari breakdown seeing that. Harman and Vicky arrive there and find him dead. Harman asks him to wake up and cries. Vicky hugs Parineet. The inspector calls for an ambulance.
Jaswant’s last rituals are done. The priest says usually sons light the pyre, Jaswant doesn’t have a son so Vicky can do it. All family members are crying. Vicky says I think only Parineet has a right to light his pyre as he loved her the most, he always took her as his son. Parineet does his last rituals and cries. Beeji and all others
Jaswant’s prayer meet has been set up. Parineet imagines Rajeev again and tries to ignore her thoughts. A guest tells Harman that you have to take care of the family now, I think you should find Rajeev and send Pari to him. You have to think about Pari first. Hharman nods. Mandeep hears all that and calls Harman in the kitchen.
Mandeep tells Harman that thinks about Vicky, he is the only son of this house so he should own this house. Harman says stop it, I told you that this house is owned by Jaswant and now Parineet. I will give this house to Parineet without thinking anything. He asks her to stop thinking ill thoughts, he leaves. Mandeep is angry and says he doesn’t care for me and my kids. I have to do something. She gets an idea.
Scene 2
In the morning, Mandeep comes to the family and says I have a headache. She tells the family that she can’t go to the mandir. Parineet brings medicine for her. Harman thinks she cares for everyone.
All family members are going to the mandir. Parineet finds a blind woman on the road and helps her. A guest says you should do something about Parineet before she goes crazy. Gurpreet glares at her. The guest says he won’t come back. Parineet says my Bauji can never be wrong, Rajeev will come for sure and take me back.
Mandeep is waiting in the house alone and says I will make sure to send Parineet away.
All family members come back home. Mandeep tells Parineet that Rajeev called. All are surprised. Parineet says really? How is he? Mandeep says he was saying sorry about Jaswant. He told me that he can’t come to take Parineet for 2 years, I was stunned but then he told me that I can bring Parineet to him in Chandigarh. She says Rajeev has bought a house there so he wants Parineet to come there and I promised him. Parineet smiles and says I knew Rajeev would call me. Gurpreet hugs her. Pari says Bauji must have prayed for me to God. Mandeep says don’t cry anymore. She brings the tickets for Chandigarh and says we have to go tonight.
PRECAP – Mandeep leaves Parineet in a hotel room in Chandigarh. There is a police raid and Parineet gets arrested.
