Popular actor Parth Samthaan is set to share the screen with Bollywood legend Sanjay Dutt in the upcoming film Ghudchadi. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Parth opened up about his experience working alongside the veteran actor and shared insights into Sanjay Dutt’s inspiring battle with cancer.
When asked about emotional moments shared with Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthaan revealed, “He shared his story about his cancer treatment, how it was detected, and even showed me his X-ray, illustrating how serious it was.”
Parth further elaborated on how Sanjay Dutt’s close ones reacted during this challenging time. He recounted, “It was the day when everyone found out, his relatives and loved ones, and they all gathered around him at home. That’s when he told them, ‘Cry as much as you want now. I have fought with the world; I will fight this too.’ He then moved forward with determination. That moment truly inspired me.”
The Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan star expressed his admiration for Sanjay Dutt, stating, “I don’t know if he has shared this story publicly. But witnessing someone who has been through so much and still stands strong, happy, and humble is incredibly inspiring. Initially, I was intimidated to see him on the first day on set.”
Parth recalled feeling nervous when Sanjay Dutt arrived on set, likening it to the principal entering a classroom, as the entire set fell silent. However, once he began speaking with Sanjay Dutt, Parth discovered his soft-spoken and approachable nature. He found Sanjay Dutt’s humility and down-to-earth personality both intriguing and educational.
Regarding his Bollywood debut, Ghudchadi is set to release on OTT platforms. The film features an ensemble cast, including Parth Samthaan, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Khushalii Kumar, and is scheduled to premiere on August 9, 2024, on Jio Cinema.
