THE PAST & THE PRESENT – ISHQBAAZ FF -EPISODE 27 – A SURPRISE PROPOSAL

Hello this is VHM back with an FF on IB…I will deal with all the three pairs of IB ….please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes….

Priyanka ‘’ but I want to speak today Mr.Chabbra’’
Shivaay came to her ‘’Prinku I will handle this…don’t worry’’
Prinku ‘’Nahi bhayya….today let me speak…I have gathered lots of courage after a really long time to speak…and I hope and trust ……….you all will stay by my side’’
Tej ‘’go ahead Prinku…speak out what you want to say’’
Prinku smiled and Turned towards Mr.Chabbra

Prinku ‘’Uncle I know your anger is justified with whatever happened during that day….but Uncle my brother’s reason was also justified…he can never do anything which will make me sad…you thought about your insult, my brother thought about my safety and happiness…I know today he wanted to apologise to you for that day…’’
Prinku turned towards Shivaay and spoke ‘’but I don’t want my brother to bend infront of anyone…specially when he is right at his point…….we are oberois we hold a pride when we say that name and we will be such further……’’
Chabbra ‘’Fine then I think there is nothing left’’
‘’There is still something left Papa’’ a voice came fr
om behind……….
Now everyone turned to the other side…it was Dev
Chabbra ‘’Dev …you’’
Dev ‘’yes papa…it’s me…….and today I too have something else to say’’
Dev turned towards Shivaay and Tej and said
Dev ‘’Mr.Oberoi I still want to marry your daughter Priyanka….and am still waiting for your approval…I know I am the son of first wife of my dad but my mom was his legal wife and she died …so he did second marriage to bring me up…now I treat his second wife as my mom and she loves me the same as she loves her own son Reyaan….i can’t understand what’s wrong in it…….’’
Chabbra ‘’Are you out of your senses Dev…is this the time and place to speak all this’’
Dev ‘’time and place doesn’t matter papa…if I don’t take courage to say it …I probably will never be able to say it further specially to Oberois’’
Shivaay-Om-Rudra-Mahi were looking at Tej

Dev turned towards Shivaay ………Mr.Chaabra was speechless………….
Dev ‘’Mr.Shivaay…there is one more truth…I met Priyanka in Paris an year ago…she was adamant of not speaking to me as you did not like me….and what impressed me the most is your sister didn’t go beyond your words even after so much time….and seeing this my respect towards her increased…I don’t want to remember and care for what happened earlier …but I hope you will understand me …..’’
Everyone were shocked to listen to Dev……….
Shivaay looked at him and then looked at Prinku
Priyanka ‘’It’s true bhayya …I met him in paris…but trust me bhayya I never spoke to him as I cannot go beyond your words anytime and today from Anika Bhabhi I got to know you were going to apologise them and I don’t want you to do so’’
ShivOmRuHi were smiling with tears…

Om ‘’you have grown up so big Prinku…I never expected that you are so mature’’
Rudra ‘’haan to behen kiski hain ? ‘’
OmHi gave a death glare to Rudra…….he went silent……….
Shivaay ‘’Prinku come here’’ he called her towards him and hugged her….AND spoke
Shivaay ‘’Thank you so much Prinku for the respect and love you have towards me…I am so lucky to have such an awesome sister’’
Shivaay looked at Tej ….Tej smiled ..
Tej ‘’shivaay I trust you and I am with you…you have every right to take decision as you used to do earlier… as you are her elder brother and remember nothing changed…’’
Shivaay too smiled….Later Shivaay looked at MahiOmRU they nodded their heads and smiled……
Shivaay ‘’Come with me Prinku…I need to talk to you’’
Prinku and Shivaay left towards Tej’s cabin

Shivaay ‘’Prinku sit….have water first’’ he waited until she relaxed
Shivaay ‘’prinku….i will ask you one question just answer me’’
Prinku looked at Shivaay …
Shivaay ‘’Do you like Dev ?’’

Prinku was shocked to core and bent her head down
Shivaay ‘’I will not pressurise you, I will not force you and trust me… I am not in a hurry to get you married….i am asking you because earlier… two times I made a mistake…. I don’t want to repeat the mistake for the third time…if you like Dev and you think he can become a good life partner then I am ready to get you married to him…if you feel you need time, you take time….else if you have someone else in your life then let me know…but this time I will listen and accept whatever you feel is correct for you’’
Prinku ‘’I like Dev …Shivaay bhayya…..and I feel…’’ she stopped
Shivaay ‘’you feel ?’’
Prinku ‘’I feel he will keep me happy……but…’’

Shivaay ‘’but?’’
Prinku ‘’I need time, first …….I don’t want you to bend infront of them…apologise them and request them for this alliance…if they accept without any condition then only I will get married to dev else I wouldn’t’’
Shivaay smiled and brushed Prinku’s hair
Shivaay ‘’prinku…I will not request them to accept this alliance….i wouldn’t bend to their demands too…but I owe an apology to them…you know this apology is to reduce my guilt of insulting them and I should do this….i promised Anika also that I will apologise to them…so I will do it not for you but for me….but I will not ask for your alliance as you wished’’
Prinku smiled and hugged her brother

Shivaay ‘’by the way prinku…you look much good when you speak with confidence …I liked you this way…and be like this…we want you to be strong like this under any situation….’’
Prinku ‘’this is all because of Anika Bhabhi, Gauri Bhabhi and Sumo…hadn’t they boosted me then I wouldn’t have spoken today’’
Shivaay ‘’what? Did all of them ask you to say all these?’’
Prinku ‘’no bhayya….Anika Bhabhi asked me to be confident and speak my mind…she explained how things will change when one is filled with confidence…..she had been a great support …..she knew everything about me, about Dev…infact she was the first one to ask my opinion about Dev….when I said I like him…she asked me to think from all perspectives and asked me to feel free while letting you all know my decision……..Gauri Bhabhi and Sumo has been helping me too in this…. ‘’
Shivaay ‘’great…you didn’t understand when we brothers explained you…but now you changed with your Bhabhi’s?’’
Prinku ‘’it’s not like that bhayya….they’’

Shivaay ‘’who ever it is we brothers or your bhabhi’s ………..the best part is you have become confident…I guess everyone will be worried so we should go down’’
Both came down……….AS expected everyone was waiting for them………
Shivaay went to Mr.Chabbra and Dev………
Shivaay ‘’Mr.Chabbra……I am sorry for whatever I have done……..i have realised my mistake and wanted to apologise you’’

Chabbra ‘’why suddenly?’’
Shivaay ‘’a bad day comes for everyone when they realise and repent for their mistakes……I had got that bad day an year ago and from then on I know how it feels to be insulted for no mistake of ours…………and today I wanted to apologise for the deed I have done with Dev…though I know it’s late’’
Chabbra ‘’ firstly do you think I should believe whatever you are saying you truly mean it…secondly , I never expected Shivaay Singh Oberoi to come to me and apologise…lastly I think you are doing all this for someother reason …isn’t it’’
Shivaay ‘’Mr.Chabbra…Firstly , I believe whatever I say and whatever I say I mean it……secondly, I have lived as only Shivaay for past one year…..not as Shivaay Singh Oberoi…I understand how it feels when someone points you for no mistake of us…….lastly, I cannot force you to believe me but I can assure you irrespective of the happenings here I wanted to apologise for my behaviour…rest I leave it to you’’ he went silent…..

Shivaay turned towards Dev
Shivaay ‘’Dev I am really sorry…I shouldn’t have behaved as such with you…hope you accept my apologies’’
Chabbra and Dev looked at each other……..later the two smiled …….
Chabbra ‘’I am happy my boy..that a person like you not only knows to commit a mistake but also knows to rectify it…’’

Shivaay ‘’listening your words can I understand that you both have accepted my apologies?’’
Chabbra ’’Shivaay I don’t have any personal grudge with you but I was deeply hurt because of the way you rejected the proposal…well whatever happened has happened and I am not a person to keep all these in heart…even today I respect you for what you are and for the way you speak straight from you heart , also not to forget the way you do the business …….’’
Shivaay ‘’thank you so much Mr.Chabbra…’’

OmRuHi stood beside SHivaay and smiled……….
Tej too apologised to Mr.Chabbra for his behaviour……….Mr.Chabbra smiled and they both shook hands…….
Dev ‘’Mr.Shivaay …I know I am too fast in asking this…but what about the relation between me and Priyanka?’’
Shivaay ‘’Dev , Prinku needs time and this is what she has asked me to fulfil….you know me I will not do anything against her will…so I cannot assure you anything…but if Prinku agrees then we would not delay anymore…I hope you understand….but Prinku will definitely be talking to you from now on as I have absolutely no objection’’

Dev smiled and agreed………Prinku looked at him and smiled………
Dev ‘’fine we will keep meeting ‘’ he said to Shivaay while looking at Prinku…….

All the Oberois had seen to it that the event on first day completed smooth without any inconvenience………
They all reached home……….Gauri, Sumo came and met Om and Rudra at door ……
Shivaay was searching for Anika …she was no where to be seen
Om ‘’Gauri…..where is Anika Bhabhi?’’
Gauri ‘’I guess she is teaching Maths to Sahil’’
Shivaay ‘’what? Are you serious? Sahil will forget Maths…I think I must stop this deadly thing right now’’ he ran towards Sahil’s room……..
Sahil ‘’arey Shivaay jiju…you here?’’

Shivaay ‘’yeah …where is your didi’’
Sahil ‘’she left from here long time back … I think she is in your room’’
Shivaay ‘’ok thanks…’’

Shivaay went to his room ……….Anika was sitting at poolside …her favourite place and noting down something while speaking on phone….she didn’t observe Shivaay coming…..
Shivaay came near her and back hugged her………..Anika closed her eyes…she knew she couldn’t resist Shivaay when he hugs her that too from back…….Mobile slipped of her hand and papers she was holding scattered….

Shivaay planted a kiss on her shoulder which was bare……she closed her fist…but she recalled his words and jerked him away and left from there towards their room
Shivaay ran behind her and held her hand……..
Anika ‘’Leave my hand Shivaay’’

Shivaay ‘’I am sorry Anika………I know I shouldn’t have said so much…but I was tensed…….how to explain you…I am really sorry’’
Anika ‘’I don’t need any apologies…..i am happy you got your family back…….and I have decided something which I thought to let you know tonight…but since you have initiated let me tell you my decision’’
Shivaay looked at her …her eyes were with tears, red …her face was sinking, she was extremely sad………his heart was twisting seeing her condition and he nervously asked
Shivaay ‘’what decision?’’

Anika ‘’ I am leaving tomorrow to Shillong and I will stay there’’
Shivaay ‘’ok if you don’t feel like staying here I will also come but we will leave on Thursday as decided’’
Anika ‘’no……I will stay there alone with Sahil…..’’
Shivaay ‘’what?’’
Anika ‘’yes…I will stay there alone with Sahil……..’’
Shivaay ‘’Have you gone mad?’’
Anika ‘’no I have got sense now……’’

Shivaay ‘’why are you doing this Anika?’’
Anika ‘’why shouldn’t I Shivaay ? Remember what you said and what you did….you said you will give me same fate as you gave mummy ji, you saw me falling but never came to hold me……you behaved as if I don’t matter to you…as if I am nothing to you…..’’
Shivaay ‘’Anika…listen…listen to me ….it’s true i was angry then and more than being angry I was tensed …how to explain you?’’

Anika ‘’I already said I don’t need your apologies…..if you get anger you will leave me …you will not look back to me…..i know I did wrong but my intention was right…I wanted to give you happiness which was taken away because of me …you forgot everything …..what sort of anger is this Shivaay? Am I not anything to you ? I respect everyone here but you forgot to respect me and my feelings that day …so my decision is final…I will leave Shivaay and if you…if you try to come behind me then this time I will……..’’
Rudra knocked the door before Anika could complete her statement……..
Shivaay opened the door
Rudra ‘’Shivaay bhayya …Mr.T .V.Bajaj has come home…papa is calling you both ….come fast’’
Shivika ‘’ok…chalo’’

Mr. T.V.BAJAJ was sitting in the living room and Tej was introducing everyone……When Shivaay and Anika entered…….Shivaay shook hands with him and Anika greeted him……
Mr.Bajaj ‘’so how are you MR.Shivaay Singh Oberoi’’
Shivaay ‘’All good Mr.Bajaj…you here at this hour? Anything important ?’’
Mr.Bajaj ‘’yes , I have come here for a proposal …..’’
Tej ‘’Proposal? What sort of Proposal ?’’
Mr.Bajaj ‘’ All your family members are here?’’
Om ‘’yes Mr.Bajaj everyone here except choti maa….she has gone out for some work….’’
Mr.Bajaj ‘’that’s okay…I hope whatever I say today you will let her know’’

Dadi ‘’why do you want everyone in our family to be present here? ‘’
Mr.Bajaj turned towards Shivaay and said
Mr.Bajaj ‘’as you all know I have only one grand daughter …Shreya …daughter of my late son…….i thought of getting her married to Mahi……’’
Everyone looked towards Mahi smiling……….Mahi was feeling embarrassed……..

Mr.Bajaj continued
Mr.Bajaj ‘’I have seen the interview of Mahi the other day…he is extraordinary…his politeness, his sense of humor, his smartness, the way he speaks, his sense of business , his way of handling everything.. impressed me so much and moreover he is an Oberoi too……..I suppose my granddaughter will be very happy here …..what more do I need……….’’
ShivOmRuHi were smiling happily and Pinky was excited ……..so were Jhanvi, tej, Dadi, prinku and Shakthi…….
Mr.Bajaj ‘’today morning I spoke to Mr.Tej Oberoi for quite a time he was full on praises for Shivaay and Mahi……..i knew Shivaay and I got to know about Mahi …so I decided then that I would ask for the proposal…if you all don’t have any objection I will like to take forward the professional relation to personal level……’’

Shakthi was about to say something when Mahi said
Mahi ‘’Mr.Bajaj ….i need to say something before anyone over here decide anything……..’’
Everyone looked at Mahi ……….
Mr.Bajaj ‘’yes offcourse’’
Mahi ‘’before making any decision about me I want you to know complete truth about me…..and this is very important……I don’t know whether this alliance will get fixed or not …but since you wanted to take this forward, I will want you to think again after listening to truth…… ‘’
Mr.Bajaj frowned his eyebrows
Mr.Bajaj ‘’what truth?’’

Mahi ‘’mr.Bajaj I never knew I was an Oberoi …I got to know only few days before …it’s not even a week also, that i have got to know that all these who are present in this room are my family …my own family and I am related with blood to all of them excepting the bahu’s of this family……….i have grown up as an illegitimate child of a lady called Kamini who is in Jail now….i have got educated but I am not any degree holder…the business experience and all about which you were praising me is because of my brother Shivaay…he thought me and made me capable in past one year and I am successful only and only because of him…..i don’t know how smart I am but I have learnt to be honest and truthful…..so let me tell you everything else too’’
He took a pause and then he continued to tell everything about himself to Mr.Bajaj ………..Shivaay tried to stop but Mahi spoke every truth about him to Mr.Bajaj………

After listening Mr.Bajaj got up and looked at Mahi …………everyone stood up too……..Mr.Bajaj was ready to leave……..
Pinky stepped in just then and saw Mr.Bajaj …He too looked at her in shock ……….
