Minnie leaves in anger. Babita stops her and asks her to listen. Minnie asks what she thought that she won’t figure it out that Babita called her grandparents to temple. She asks why she did that. Babita says because they are her grandparents. They have aged and they need Minnie. And it’s not their fault in what Ashok did. Minnie says they still took his side instead of Babita’s. Babita says they were helpless. Minnie asks what about when Dadu said that she’s not her granddaughter when she removed surname. Babita says so what. She also gets angry at her and says anything. They are elder and so what if they made any mistake. She asks Minnie to go and convince Dadu. He’s her own in end. Minnie goes to her grandparents and asks Biji to tell Dadu that she still cares about him,
Meeta’s mom tells Meeta that her in-laws still love Babita and Minnie. Meeta says they lived together for 17 years, so obviously there will be attachment. Her mother asks whether they have truly accepted her or they just said yes for marriage in Ashok’s pressure. Meeta says she has tried her best to keep Ashok and his family happy. Even Papaji said that she’s an ideal bahu. Her father asks whether she will be able to live like that? She has always lived independently. Meeta says she loves Ashok a lot and she will manage it for him. Her father says they will do as she says, but he hopes Ashok is worth her sacrifice. Her mother asks it’s late, her in-laws still have not returned?
Minnie brings Biji and Dadu to her place. She introduces them to her neightbors and then take them to show her room. Neighbors wonder how come Babita’s in-laws are talking so nicely to her after throwing her out of the house. One lady says they have been working with Babita since so long, she doesn’t think Babita can do anything wrong.
Babita smiles seeing Minnie being so happy with Biji and Dadu. She says that is what she wanted. She was missing her family. Naeem Bi says everything will be fine now and Minnie won’t even need a doctor. Babita says she hopes Minnie always stays happy and her business works out.
Khatri discusses with Kartar that so many are interested in Babita’s food. Kartar asks when Babita doesn’t like him, why they are helping her. Khatri says they are kind of business partners as well. Their wives and Babita can do all the work, but in end, business will be in their hands. Babita stays busy, so it’s them who need to bring and talk to clients. They don’t need to tell to Babita how many clients they have deal with.
Everyone’s back home and they sit for dinner. Meeta’s father asks they went for health check up, right? Then why it took so long. Dadu says they did many tests. Meeta serves food to everyone. Lovely goes in her room with food as she can’t stand smell of fish. Meeta says her father needs fish in dinner, so she cooked that for him. Her father feels bad and he doesn’t eat. He tells Dadu that they shall come tomorrow again and they will final date for marriage. He further says he never approved Meeta’s decision. Meeta’s mother covers up for him.
Hanuman returns home. Babita gives him dahi vada and asks how it is. He starts praising even before trying. She asks him to try first. He eats and remembers Imarti. She says he must be used to her cooking, so this cooking must be different for him. He says yes. He asks her to wait and goes to get something. He comes back with a big spoon and says Imarti got from her family. They said if you use that spoon, then food will be heavenly. He gets emotional saying whenever he used it, it reminded him of Imarti. He stopped using it as he is not good at cooking. He gives it to Babita saying it will be helpful to her. Maybe that spoon was waiting for her. He gives her a small bowl as well saying Imarti used to use while praying. That will also be useful to Babita.
