Patiala Babes 28th May 2019 Written Episode Update: Babita suppresses her feelings for Hanuman

I suppose there was some problem with the person who updated. No disrespect, but i watched the show yesterday so i will try to write a fuller update for others’ benefit. I missed the beginning of the episode a little, so here goes…

Babita is up in her kitchen, cooking. But her stove has some problem and she is trying to figure it out. Hanuman comes up. He is thinking about Nayeen Bi and Lala’s advice and stands there hesitatingly. He offers Babita help with her stove. While repairing it, he keeps mumbling to himself,
‘I should find the courage and say something. It will be hard at first but it will be okay later.’
Babita asks, ‘what are you saying? What will be hard?’
Hanuman says ‘fixing this stove. there are dangers involved. there might even be blasts.’
Babita offers to remove the pipe connecting the gas cylinder but Hanuman tells her to let it be. Babita realizes from Hanuman’s unease that he is talking about something else. She recollects her talks with minnie, about true love. she decides something and brings back an envelope from her room. It is the same one containing Hanuman’s share of profit in the business. Hanuman refuses again, but Babita says,
‘Why don’t you understand? I am doing this for Minnie. she has no one to look up to. Her father gave her no values. I have to be her ideal. I have to stay honest and stainless. what will i reply to her if she asks why i did not return your money? How will i face her if this continues? I hope you understand what i am saying.’
Hanuman realizes that Babita has understood his feelings but is refusing him indirectly. He gets sad but he accepts the envelope and goes away quietly.

Out in the street, Minnie and Preet are on her scooty, while Micky is on his bike. They are leaving for a movie and they decide to race to the movie hall. They decide to start on the count of three but Micky leaves before Minnie finishes her counting. Yelling, Minnie starts her scooty too and is about to go when Khatri blocks her way. Khatri threatens her that they did a big mistake by removing him from the business. Minnie tells him to do whatever he wants and leaves.

In Ashok’s house, Biji, Bauji, Lovely and Sukhi are discussing about their financial problems. Lovely keeps yelling that they have lost everything and maybe they should cancel the party for Ashok and Mita’s wedding. Biji gets upset but Sukhi agrees keeping their troubles in mind. Bauji looks on helplessly. At that point, Ashok comes out walking angrily from his room and Mita follows him shouting. she pulls him back and says,
‘You are selfish and arrogant. Everyone is worrying but you will listen to no one, only act according to your own wishes. You brought an unknown man as business partner and now everyone is suffering. Our child is about to come’ – Ashok tries to silence her but Mita continues – ‘how will you take care of your child? What answer will i give if he questions me about his father?’
Mita goes back to her room crying while the rest of the family member watch in shock. Biji questions,
‘Mita was pregnant? That’s why you married so fast?’
Ashok tries to explain but lovely starts arguing with him. Biji cries that he has committed a sin. Bauji says ‘the sin was committed long back, especially against their bahu, what did she expect? they were staying together, after all’
sukhi says he was wrong and they should now continue with the party. Lovely agrees. They should let the society know Ashok and Mita have married, otherwise if Mita’s belly starts showing people will insult them more.

In Khatri’s office, Kammo is waiting for Khatri in an irritated mood. Khatri arrives and Kammo says moodily,
‘I am waiting here with your lunch and you keep roaming outside. You have no care for me at all.’
Khatri says, ‘I am noticing you are irritated since yesterday. What’s the matter?’
Kammo replies, ‘Why wouldn’t i be? The society women used to call me ‘Business women’. But now again i am nothing.’
Khatri is about to say something when his phone rings. He picks up and says, ‘the hoarding is ready? Great. Bring as soon as possible.’
Kammo gets excited. She asks, ‘what hoarding, what for?’
Khatri says, ‘wait and see. you will realize how much your husband loves you.’ He laughs, he he he he he

Out in the street, Nayyen Bi and Babita are buying fruits and vegetables.
Nayeen Bi is angry at Babita and questions ‘why she returned Hanuman’s money? Does she really not understand or is she knowingly in denial?’
Babita tries to deflect with normal answers but Nayeen Bi does not relent. She questions if Babita really does not like Hanuman? He is great and worthy man. Babita say she knows and that why she respects him. But she is living for Minnie only. Nayeen Bi says for how long? One day Minnie will marry and leave and Babita will be left alone.
At this point, Minni and Preet return from the movie. They discuss it with Babita and Nayeen Bi. Preet has liked the movie but not Minnie. Instead Minnie was impressed with the camera work. She talks at length about camera angles and cinematography. Talking, they are all about to go back to Hanuman’s house when they hear loud voices coming from the alley facing Khatri’s office. they turn and see men putting up a big hoarding saying ‘PATIALA BIBI DA KITCHEN.’
Immediately, they go and argue with Khatri. Minnie says he is doing wrong but Khtri counters that he is only expanding his business. Nayeen Bi says
‘Your business is in real estate and houses, why you are coming in the food business. have you know shame? in the same mohalla Babita has business and Khatri is trying to steal it.’
Khatri replies, ‘It is not same. Babita behenji has catering business. this will be restaurant. My wife can cook too. She will run it.’
Kammo and Madhu are standing beside him. They look at him but they are not confident and smug like they used to be when Khatri taunted Babita in the past.
Babita says, ‘Do what you want, but you can’t use our name. Patiala Babes is a registered name. If you misuse it, you will be punished.
Khatri argues that they always threaten him with police action. ‘Go to police if you want, but nothing will happen. Our name is different. No Babes in our name, no nothing.’
Babita looks on furious.

precap: Babita is back in her house. Minni and Hanuman are there too. Babita says angrily, ‘Patiala Babes will not remain just a catering service for the police. We will reach the height of ambition. I will show men like Khatri and Ashok what i can do.’ Hanuman looks on
