Patiala Babes fame Swati Rajput ties the knot with Saurabh Goyal in Uttarakhand
Swati Rajput who rose to fame with her stint in Patiala Babes recently tied the knot with Saurabh Goyal on February 22 in an intimate wedding in Uttarakhand. The actress talked about it in an interview and shared, “Since Saurabh’s family is from Uttarakhand, we chose to get married there. As a bride, I always wanted to wear a Rajasthani lehenga, so I made sure that I did that on my wedding day. We only had our family and close friends at the wedding.”
Recounting the time when she first met Saurabh, Swati says, “We met in 2014 while shooting for a project and exchanged numbers. Around 2020, we reconnected again when I was shifting homes. He stayed close to my new place and we started talking and meeting. I got to know him closely and realized how caring and loving he is. That quality really attracted me to him. After dating for around two years, we decided to get married this year.”
Swati, who was last seen in Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar, is now taking a short break from work. She said, “I want to focus and enjoy this chapter of my life. So, I am taking a short break and will get back to looking for good work soon.”
When asked about their honeymoon plans, she said, “Currently, I am in Uttarakhand, so we will explore this place. Later, we plan to go to London for a holiday.”
