“The Perfect Bahus” Part 6

Aparna-Aditiya bonding leaves Yadav upset.

The house is full of joy as their first son’s engagement is going to happen shortly.  As usual, Mrs.Akhila Bhutt hands over the management of the function to Malar.  Mr.Anbu Ahuja gets delighted as his maalkin has considered his daughter a responsible being. To start the preparations, she steps into the house.  On the other hand, Ms.Aparna Yadav was taken aarti and was asked her to get into the house. She also steps at the same time when Malar does.

Yadav’s longing desire to know about Malar’s past has got the right time. He secretly enters into the outhouse of the Bhutts where Malar and her family lived.  Malar decorates the house heartily.  She looks after every single décor as no mistakes must go on in the function. In Malar’s house, Mr.Yadav searches for clues.  He takes out a old trunk box from the store room.  The box was locked.  He breaks the lock and sees a silver key-chain.  The key-chain is in the form of a heart shape where the photos of Mr.Yadav and Mrs. Sindhu Yadav photos are affixed.

In the evening, all the guests are arrived in Bhutts house.  They also have a small gossip on Malar’s beauty.  This made Aparna angry and she decides to have make-up to look more beautiful.  Mrs.Akhila and Mr.Vasudev Bhutt decide to make Aparna wear the ancestral chain.  It is part of their traditional to welcome the bahu of their house.  The function goes.  Aditiya comes in Kurta and looks fair in this engagement.  Aparna too, wears a grand costume and looks pleasant to the guests.  Mrs.Akhila comes forward to put the ancestral chain to Aparna to welcome her into the family.  When she does so, the chain mistakenly falls into Malar’s neck.  Aparna smirks.  Later, Mrs.Akhila makes an apology and wears to Aparna.  Everybody claps. The next ritual was to make the couple exchange the rings.  When it is about to happen, Mr.Yadav asks the couple to stop it.
