Rish followed where Maya was going. At once he thought it was very wrong to follow her. It meant to break the trust between them. Though he decided to see whom she was going to meet. Maya reached cafe and bought a cake. Rish was observing her from far. A man reached there. Maya happily hugged him. The man reciprocated the hug. Rish was left speechless.
Maya opened the cake and asked the man to cut. The man was surprised at that and gave a forehead kiss to Maya. Rish was almost crying. He left the place silently with tears in his eyes. He couldn’t believe what he saw. He thought Maya was still loving her grandpops aka Nandhu. He went to his office where he was restless. Both incidents where May hugged the man and the other where that man forehead kissed her were constantly rolling over his mind. He threw away the things in his cabin and bursted out his cry.
Cafe:
The man turned out to be Karthik and Maya invited him to celebrate mother’s day. Every year, she used to celebrate mother’s day, father’s day, sibling’s day, children’s day, friendship day, grandparent’s day and every each day with Karthik as she regarded him as her mother, father, sibling, pet, aunty, uncle, friend and everything.
Karthik: you surprised me as usual
Maya: its my peculiar style mummy
Karthik: aww my daughter.. come lets cut this cake..
Maya: on one condition mummy.. i will have the whole cake and no sharing.. is it a deal?
Karthik: my beti.. is it new to me? Its a deal.. but on one condition.. you should at least share this with your husband Rish..
Maya thought for a while and said ok.
They had a laugh and they cut the cake together.
They both fed each other and Maya wished him, “happy mother’s day mom.. I love you..”
Karthik: thank you so much beti.. i love you too…
Maya gave him a gift where there is a small wax statue of a boy and a girl below that there was an imprint which said I AM LUCKY TO HAVE YOU AS MY FRIEND.. LOVE YOU KARTHIK.. He was touched by this and thanked her.
Karthik asked, “whether Rish know about our meeting?”
Maya replied, “no bittu mom.. he would have sympathised with this.. you know nah how kind hearted he is? I will tell him once I reached back home..”
Karthik: whatever may the situation be.. as your mom, it is my duty to advice you.. share everything with my son-in-law.. he will be there for you and you should be there for him…
Maya: bittu mom.. come on.. don’t give me lectures.. Now its time for you to give me chocolates..
Karthik: Aiyo I forgot to bring..
Maya left her jaws opened and said, “i hate you bittu mom” and turned away..
Karthik laughed and showered her with many chocolates.
Maya was overwhelmed with this and said, “i love you bittu mom..”
Karthik said, “i love you too lambu beti..”
Karthik and Maya (bittu mom and lambu beti) had good times together. They both went for a movie which has mother-daughter sentiments and they had lunch. In the evening, they both bid bye to each other. Karthik reminded her of the cake to share with Rish. Maya assured him that she would not eat it alone.
The whole day, Rish was disturbed. He called her repeatedly to find that the mobile was switched off. He threw the mobile in anger. The same hug scene controlled his full mind.
In the evening,
Maya came home. It was fully dark. She switched on the light to see Rish was sitting on the sofa with reddish eyes and clutched fist, half buttoned shirt and messy hair. Maya was frightened to see him in that state. Maya asked what happened but Rish coolly replied nothing. Maya heaved a sigh and went inside the bedroom to fresh up.
After some times, she came to hall to share the cake with him. She was questoning him non stop like how was the day, did you have your lunch on time, did you get any interesting news and so on. Asking these, she gave him the cake. Rish lost his temper and threw the cake and stared at her with anger. Maya stepped back with his furious behaviour. He forwarded and she stepped back. It reminded her of dev’s wild behaviour. She saw dev in rish’s face. She started to scream, “no no dev.. don’t come near me.. i swear I will kill you now.. no dev.. if you take a step forward, i don’t know what i will do..” she screamed even more and she fainted. Rish was scared seeing her. She came near her and splashed water on her face. He made her to drink some water and made her to lie down. He called Karthik to come home.
Karthik and Ashwin arrived.
They both were panicked to see her in that state. They asked what happened. Rish said that she remembered about dev. They both shedded tears and woke her up. Karthik took her medicine box and gave her the tablet. Karthik called Arya to come with the required medicines. Arya came within few minutes and gave her the treatment. Karthik said how Maya was celebrating mother’s day with him and how happy they both were. He wondered why this happiness vanished so soon. Rish felt as if someone was slapping him repeatedly.
After 1 hour, Maya slowly opened her eyes and suddenly she screamed, “no no dev.. please leave me..”
Rish holded her tightly and said, “no dev is here Maya.. please relax..” Arya asked Karthik and Ashwin to leave as Rish would take care of her. All three went.
Maya pushed him and sat with fear. She was shivering. Rish holded her hands and said, “sorry Maya.. I was frustrated.. I am really sorry.. I didn’t mean to harm you.. I was not in my senses.. I was scared of losing you.. I can’t even imagine of hurting you.. You are my wife and my life.. I became worse than dev.. i am really really sorry Maya..”
He took her hands and started to slap him.
Maya stopped him and hugged him and said, “i know you can’t hurt me.. but what happened to you today that your behaviour reminded me of that monster? And mark my words.. our relationship was made by Karthik and your parents.. I can never think of leaving you..”
She wiped his tears and promised him that she would never leave him as Karthik said. Rish hugged her and thanked her. He thought in his mind that, “when are you going to feel me? I am waiting for the moment when you decide not to leave me just for the sake of love.. I am waiting for the moment when you become Yadav Nandhu rather than Mrs.Maya Rish Nand Agarwal.. I, RNA, hereby promise you that i will never ever get suspicious on you even God comes in front of me and blame you..”
Maya came into senses and broke the hug. She went to the hall and came back along with the remaining cake. He asked about the cake and Maya said about her mother’s day celebration. She asked him to call his mom. He called and they both wished her. After call, she asked him to have cake. He teased her by calling her foodie. She reminded him of the gym day. He widened his eyes and started to eat it silently.
Maya made a devilish face and applied the cream all over his face. He had nothing to apply as he ate it fully. He brushed her face with his face to apply the cream. Maya was embarrased at this yet she felt happy. She chased to beat him but ended up falling over him. They both had an eyelock and slept there itself hugging each other with cream all over their faces.
