OK I know you are all really angry coz I’m very late this time….but there was an emergency guys that left me in no mood to write for the entire week. I’m extremely sorry everyone. I promise to be super regular from now on…n leave you with no complaints. And another thing…you’ve been requesting me to unite dev n sona soon…I will do certainly do that but guys this story is more about the strength of their friendship… And that kind of a strength only builds up after a long journey… If I abruptly rush into making them love birds….then the story will loose its organic basis….so plz have a little Patience there is a beautiful story awaiting a few shots away! Ele: Happy new month Sona!
Sona: Ya wish you the same.
Ele: Why are you sad?
Sona:Once the school gets over, I’m really gonna miss your “HAPPY NEW MONTH!”
Ele: Awww….Don’t be sad for that. I’ll call you up and wish you every month. And why are you thinking of all this now? Its just September we have six months more! Cheer up!
(Bell rings)
Sona: Biology! Chalo don’t wanna be late for the class.
Ele: Take my notebooks along..I’ll just come.
Sona: OK come soon.
Sona left for the biology lab. Elena met Jatin and Dev.
Jatin: Where is sonakshi?
Ele: She’s off to lab.
Dev: We have teacher’s day on 5th….does she remember?
Ele: She does but have you guys planned something?
Jatin: Yes we have but we need to get the funds and before that the captains need to take permission from Princie ti start the preparations.
Ele: If you guys are free now take her along and go to Princie. I’m getting late for the class. Bbye!
*IN BIOLOGY LAB*
Ele: May I come in mam?
Nita mam(NM): You’re late Elena!
Ele: I’m sorry ma’am.
NM: C’mon take your seat.
Sona: Kaha mar gayi thi? (where were you)
Ele: Arre Kuch nahi, tu padh! (Nothing, you study)
Sona’s POV:
We were busy listening to Nita Ma’am’s lecture when I spotted some commotion at the lab door. Jatin and Dev were standing outside. After a minute Dev entered.
Dev: Excuse me mam! I’m sorry to disturb but principal sir has asked me and sonakshi to meet him.
NM: Meet him for what?
Dev: For some discussion regarding teacher’s day. We’re gonna make this year’s teacher’s day a memorable one for you ma’am.
NM: Oh is it so! OK Dev then you can take her along. Go sonakshi.
Sona: Thank you mam!
*OUTSIDE THE LAB*
Jatin: Hi sonakshi! Kemon acho?
Sona: Aami bhalo achi Jatin! Aar tumi?
Dev: Excuse me…We haven’t gathered here for a Bengali talk show!
Sona: For your kind information I have a class going on in there and I’m not here for any chit chat. But there is something called pleasantry. I guess that word isn’t in your dictionary!
Dev: Hi Sonakshi! How are you? Have you been doing well? How are uncle n aunty? And your dog? Is he fit n fine?
Sona: I don’t own a dog!
Dev: As if I care!
Jatin: Oho stop it you too and listen to me! Go to Princie and ask him for the funds and permission! All right?
Dev: Will you ask for the funds or should I?
Sona: I’ll take the permission and you ask for the funds.
Dev: Cool..let’s go..
Jatin’s POV:
Thank god! At least they agreed for something. They keep fighting like cats and dogs all the time unaware of the fact that how similar they are. Its strange how both of them have failed to understand each other when they are so alike.
Devakshi entered principal’ ms chamber and returned 10 minutes later.
Jatin: What did he say?
Dev: MM will hand over the funds to us tomorrow. And we have to collect the student’s contribution by 3rd of this months.
Sona: That’s the day after…but we gotta start buying stiff from tomorrow itself.
Jatin: Fine…but don’t let Kiara know about the preparations. She’ll spoil everything.
Sona: Kiara!…..she is your girlfriend right?
Dev (laughs): Yes she is…..they are made for each other …you know like “do hanso ka joda”.
Dev and Sona laughed with each other seeing Jatin’s reddened face. No no it was not red with blush…but with anger.
Jatin: Oh shut up you too! And Sonakshi who told you all this shit? It must be Elena. I won’t spare that girl.
Sona: Oh c’mon! You guys are childhood friends…Its her right to tease you. But seriously why is Kiara always stuck to you?
(Dev singing in background… Dil kya kare jab kisi ko kisi se pyar ho jaaye….?)
Jatin: Even go doesn’t have that answer. Forget it! Just don’t let her know that the three of us are planning everything, otherwise she will just jump into our group and impose her shitty plans.
(He hears dev singing)
Dev chup ho ja yaar….kyun mere peeche pada hai. Woh Kiara akeli kam hai kya torture karne ke liye Jo ab tu bhi shuru ho gaya?
Dev: Acha chal bhai maaf kiya tujhe….ja simaran ja jeele apni zindagi.
Jatin: Jatin!!
Dev: Tujhe teri waali jeene nahi degi???
Devakshi laugh. Jatin sighs.
Sona: Acha guys I gotta join my class…bbye.

Sonakshi was just about leave us…but as she stepped on the staircase she tripped ansmd guess what!

*dev held her by her hand… They had intense eyelock….but my eyes were wide open….a mystic music all around….violins those were….that fragrance of rose petals showering on them….me going all gaga seeing the two of them so close…..about to sing… ” la la la….lala….la la la…lala….” BUT!!….Urghh..why does this dev speak so much!
Dev: Are you all right?
And I came out of my world of imagination! Yes guys nothing at all had happened. Sonakshi is so independent that she can manage everything herself….she held the staircase railing and poor dev didn’t even got a chance….. Bruh!!
Sona: I’m fine! I’ll take your leave now..

Jatin: All funds collected?
Sona: Yup! Almost.
Jatin: So where are we meeting today?
Sona: My home! Its close to the school n to market as well.
Jatin: But we don’t know where it is.
Sona: Just come to the last crossroad before the school. There is a park right? My house is just before that park.
Jatin: OK so at what time? 7:00 will be fine?
Dev: No. I’m not free before 8:00.
Sona:Its OK. We can make the plan…jot things down and let dev know when he comes.
Dev: Ya that’ll be fine.
Jatin: Fine then, Sonakshi your number?
Sona: Ya just a sec…..here.
Jatin: OK guys see you in the evening. BBYE.
